What a beautiful song. I have a question: what inspired you to compose this piece?
@bradjacobsen1468 Жыл бұрын
Great question! I wrote half the song when I was living in the Philippines for a couple years (1998-2000). While at the time I loved, and still often miss the beautiful tropical climate, there were occasions when I missed my favorite season - autumn/fall. I wrote the rest of the song after returning to Washington state and meeting and marrying my wife. Her favorite season is autumn as well, and so she helped inspire the rest of the song!

@@bradjacobsen1468 awesome. It has the fragrance of the closing of a period of time or season or year, Fall/Autumn and some Winter-- with notes of Spring or new beginnings (maybe inspired by meeting your wife)-- and not a tropical/Summer feel, so it makes sense that you didn't complete the piece in a tropical setting. Very nice.
