You two are an absolute dream team! You have something very special going on, that I've never experienced, and can't even imagine what it must feel like to get that much understanding, support and encouragement from a partner. I hope you have many, many more happy years together! I'll be 70 this year and, fortunately, as an introvert, I'm very happy on my own 😊

This is the kind of video I love. It was so casual, natural and unscripted. It was like talking to friends. Since your career is portable, have you considered moving to the coast? Paul: We nurses know the significant value of respiratory therapists! We work so closely to take care of patients. I've learned so much from my RT colleagues. Love you. guys! Also enjoyed briefly seeing Baron "melt".
@AutumnBeckman13 күн бұрын
We would love to live on the coast but there are many problems with that. The main one is access to healthcare. There's also the impending and overdue massive earthquake and subsequent tsunami. It's also very difficult to find housing on the coast and being there would put us that much farther from the airport and the mountain. Would love to live there in theory, though. Melty Baron is the best. ;)

Glad to see Paul back on the channel and happy to hear how easily you two acclimated to Portland and that your enjoying what the great PNW has to offer. Portland was definitely a foodie town but many great places places unfortunately didn't survive the impacts of covid but it seems we're in a rebuilding state (fingers crossed). Happy to make restaurant recommendations, but great options for cajun or texmex will be hard to come by, as you know... also happy belated 2yr anniversary🎉

Excellent point. We keep hearing that downtown has changed a lot since the pandemic but that people are starting to bring it back to its former glory. Wish we'd seen it before. We haven't been into Portland very often (at least not to eat) since moving here. When we go out we tend to stay in the cities south of it for convenience. Need to get out and explore more restaurants up there.

You and Paul are so lovely, a Q&A I would’ve asked…what are unexpected differences between married vs just being regular cohabitation partners?
@AutumnBeckman13 күн бұрын
For me there's been one major difference and it was immediate...being married has solidified the sense of being partners and that we're here for each other no matter what and that we'll support each other as best as we can. It's like it was an idea before we were married but now it's a fact, if that makes sense.

Thank you for answering my question! It was too broad, i think, but pleased to hear Paul's thoughts. I began following you soon after you created your legendary LV Pochette Metis VS Coach Cassie video! It was the first of your videos that I looked at! Could you buy an ice-cream maker and create your own ice-cream? It may not be the same, but it may well still be delicious in its own way! Thank you for the video!
