As of 2018, there are three major types of LED chip types in the market. CREE, COB, and CSP [newest one]. Cree is the name of the company making the Cree LED chips. COB stands for "Chip On Board", and CSP stands for "Chip Scale Package".

Fs2: a little tint of blue and full white. Fs3: a greenish kinda grey color.

i have a 09 tundra and my low beams are h11 and high beams are 9005 will the connector fit into the stock harness

How would I find out if my vehicle needs the "error free CANBUS drivers" that the offer to cancel the on dash warnings. I want to order some new headlights, but i dont know if I need the extra drivers

Stebolicious That's a great question! unfortunately I don't have a great answer for you.... I'm sure there is probably a better way and maybe somebody will chime in and let us know but the only way I can think of would be to simply unplug one of your headlights and see if any warning lights or messages show up on your dash, if not I'd say you are safe. I now a lot of the high end cars and new model cars have that can bus setup but I don't know exactly which model cars do and which don't....

eacardoc1 Good tip, I'll try that tomorrow. It's a 2003 Sequoia, so I'm assuming that it doesn't have any fancy warning messages that pop up, but I just wasn't really sure. Never dealt with LED headlights before, so just trying to cover all bases before I buy. Thanks for the response

Since the date of this review, how are the FS-3 coming so far? Are they lasting? I am in the market for hi and low led lights and looking at FS-3 and FS-16 , any input would be appreciated.

Do these work as DRL? Like, is it dimmer at DRL power level?

Install them in your low beams, 9005 should fit in your 9006 socket.

AntiBroke19 seems like I mentioned a few times in the video that my vehicle has stock factory HIDs.... it takes a DR2 bulb which is wired through factory ballasts so nope, a 9005 bulb definitely will not work in that car.

eacardoc1 im really interested in the throw distance between the stock halogen and those LEDs. yes they are bright, but I still have yet to find a video that shows the throw distance between the two.

how does it compare to the f16 series from auxbeam i know you did a video while back ago and i bought 2 sets of F 16 series leds and im very happy with it

Eliezer Castro It would be hard to say for sure without having a set of each to try out side by side in identical headlight housings... I really like the F16 series bulbs I put in my Tahoe and I do believe they are a bit brighter than either the FS-2 or FS-3 Series bulbs but not by a huge margin.... that could also be because the aftermarket headlight housing lenses are newer thus cleaner/clearer in my tahoe....

does not look like they are designed for the 9005 socket. you get enough light with these bulbs, but with the highbeam it should been thrown longer down the road. looks like any other cheap led kit to me.

fs-3 series bulbs have 3 faces..the bulbs in your box have only 2?

spdklls7 3 faces for those bulb with low/high beam on same bulb like H4, H13, 9004 and 9007, 2 faces on those that use low and high beam separated, like H7, 9006, 9005, etc.
