I have a couple questions: 1. If you have the amber Halo selected on the panel, and turn ignition all the way off, the next time you turn on ignition will it turn on the amber halo with vehicle (sort of like a memory function for ignition). 2. If you have halo amber selected on panel, and select either LED light, or other color halo switch, will it short anything? Not sure what happens if I’d accidentally click one of the others light functions (on same light pod) while one is already selected. Thanks!

I have the switch panel wired to ignition and it doesn’t retain memory when I turn the bike off. I usually run with the amber halos on and I just turn them back on after restarting the bike. With the halo on, you can run the high power leds at the same time no problem. As far as what would happen if you turn both amber and white halos at the same time, I don’t know what would happen and I haven’t tried it. Maybe one day I’ll get up the nerve to try it. Lol Thanks for the questions. Hopefully that helps!

@ thanks for the quick response. So when you cut the harness, you cut out the part for the OEM harness switch, and the black rectangle part correct? Then for the 4 wires inside, you put [black + red] into one switch terminal input (pos and neg), then the two remaining wires for halo colors, you put into the positive terminals of two separate switches with no negative input correct? (I.e. for ex, switch 2 would have just one wire for pos and switch 3 would have just one wire for pos). And about your response to the two halos on at same time, that made me laugh, guess we’ll see if anyone accidentally does it and can report back 🤣🤣

Yes everything is wired exactly as you said. When I cut the light wires at the control module I left a few inches of wire at the control module so in the event I ever want to use the lights as originally intended I can reattach the wires.
