Thank you, Stanislaw! This has saved me from getting crazy! All the best Michael (BTW if somenone needs 25 fps and not 24.97, also change the NTSC to PAL in the document.)

You're welcome! Thats an interesting tip that it will specify PAL automatically at 25fps!

This saved my bacon! Also, changed from NTSC to PAL (next line in the code) like Michael Chylewski says, it makes it 25fps not 24.97. Fab!

These are the tips and insights that we need, and can't find anywhere else. Thanks! This is going to very useful.

Thanks. These came about because there’s lots of little things that can get lost in different lessons etc. I started making a list of things that were like “wait what was that?” moments I had when I was learning things. Thanks for your support. -Stanislaw Luberda AV-Ultra

As a new Motion hobbyist who bought the app on a whim and was completely overwhelmed at first, I just wanted to thank you for all your videos. There is so little out there on Motion. Why do you suppose Apple doesn't just make this field editable if it's a simple matter of changing the value in the XML? I ran into this issue before I found your video and ended up copy/pasting everything from one motion project to another and that seemed to work too. Anyway, thanks again for all the great content!

Thanks for your comment. It’s a good question. And something I’ve asked others. When you really get into it motion and fcpx really are xml and sql and the programs are front ends for all the controls. At least on my opinion. MotionVfx I believe released a program that lets you do this same thing. What would be very interesting is a xml front end that could read spreadsheets to replace text fields or locations of dropzone contents. Something like that would mean you could load one title and iterate several changes via spreadsheet cell contents. That would be really huge. Likely could automate all the graphic needs of a show or credits.

It seems that it doesn't work when you publish your titles instead of exporting. What if I want to publish a 10fps title and be able to use it in FCPX as a stop motion effect?
@AVUltra5 жыл бұрын
Hi there. Im not seeing what you are seeing. I just checked again and it does indeed work no matter what you do with it. You just have to open the title in your motion template folder. -S
