Tina, thank you for sharing. I see there are many kids' amenities closed. I had a reservation at AVA for the first week of July but I decided to cancel it and go with Hard Rock Riviera Maya. I travel with my kids and if the kids club and the beach access are close, I'd rather go to another place and wait until all areas are available to visit AVA. Your review helped me make the decision, thank you

Thank for guiding through AVA it’s a great preview as to what’s to come. I will be there the end of July to August 3. I’m hoping for much more action at the resort!!! Plus celebrating 15 year anniversary 🎉🎉 did you at all go outside of Ava to the local area or beaches

I hope everything is ready for when you arrive so you can experience the resort fully! I was only there for a couple of days so I didn’t really explore this time, but I’ve been to Cancun and riviera Maya a couple of times before. Is there anything specific you wanted to inquire about?

Yes, two years ago we went to Riviera Maya Mexico and stayed at Unico 2087. That place was amazing. We absolutely loved it. with AVA resort we are hoping to get that same top-notch service. we did explore outside the resort so if you can share any feedback like things to do outside of the resort or do you recommend that we change our reservation and stay at UNICO?

@@yolandadeane4592 if you’re able to change to UNICO then I would recommend to do so because 1) it’s adults only and AVA isn’t and; 2) there is a chance the resort won’t be completely ready by end of July

can you please explain the different rooms. The Basic room looks great but what is the F& F second tier room?

When I was there, the king and queen oceanfront rooms were the only ones that were ready and available, so unfortunately I was not able to tour any other room types

All the restaurants are not open yet. They are aiming to have everything ready for August. Right now there are 4 restaurants plus the buffet that’s open. I’m sorry but I didn’t inquire about pricing for the spa or bowling, but I can find out if you’re interested
