I am SO impressed that your dad is substitute teaching even without teaching experience and as a retired human! I am an educator myself, used to substitute teach and it is notttttt easy. It is incredibly rewarding knowing we are working to better future generations but doesn’t make it easy. We need more men in the field too to inspire young boys!

So glad you are getting out there and trying new things. I'm 64 and I am continually learning and exploring. I don't want to be in my 80's and have regrets that I didn't do this or that. Push yourself to try one new thing a month. Perhaps you could take a cooking class next. Who knows. There is so much out there to discover and I hope you continue to explore. I know when I do new things or push myself to do something I've been putting off I'm always so proud of myself and like you I get excited. I've always wanted to do pottery so maybe that's my next new thing. Could you do a book review of your summer reads soon?
