This is a lovely recipe. I've tried this a few times and we all loved it at home. I remember my mom involving me in cooking when I was in school. That kindled my interest to cook and also helped a tendency to help in cooking, keeping the kitchen clean etc. Thanks for such a nice recipe.

A small correction Ms Chitra...it is not bisi bela....it is bisi bele. Bele in kannada means paruppu. Bisi means hot. Huli means sambar So the full name is bisi bele huli Annaa. Annaa means rice. ..so bisi bele huli annaa means sambar saadham. By the way I am a great fan and admirer of your cooking techniques and receipes..
