Try Mrs. Wages pickling lime I use it it’s cheaper and I find it very strong and potent than others I’ve tried been doseing it with great results, try it you won’t regret it👍🏼

I liked mine. It’s great if you don’t have a ton of space under your tank. Only reason I stopped using mine is that I went with the Meckley method and have room for a 20 gallon trash can.

I bought the K2 recently and it didn’t have the port for a probe. I reached out to them and they replied that they stopped including it because the probe was not accurate and breaking quickly due to the high Ph.

How are you feeding it? Top off going through, or using a dosing pump of some sort?

I'm using a dosing pump that pulls water from the ATO into this reactor which then pushes the water from the bottom stirred kalk to the top to then exit through the hose into the tank.

So you fill it once a month? Do you see the potency dropping over that month? I see my ph drop throughout the week after I add new Kalk

How much do you add? I add it and start seeing it drop after 3 weeks or so. Then by the 4th I add more. I do that like 2 to 3 additional times and then clean it out and start over.

@@queencityreefs I am dosing 1 gallon a day and the manual says to put in 3/4 cup every two weeks. I wonder if it’s possibly my Kalk, I am using ESV and keep it airtight but maybe it has gone bad

I sealed w pvc glue from outside- holding up so far. Acrylic weld would be more ideal fix. In my case Someone else tried a failed repair w glue prior.
