how about this: Daniel Craig beefs up to play Reed Richards. Then when Wanda attacks he bulks up with a rocky exterior, and stretches across the audience chamber to attack her. But alas he's no match for her, so as a last-ditch effort he releases a huge fireball that blinds her, but she realizes the trick and spins around to reveal an invisible Richards trying to attack her from behind and kills him No explanation necessary, it happened in a mad multiverse adventure

It is surprising that, in a multiverse movie where the Illuminati have a facility with plastic boxes meant to contain universe variants and study them, that Marvel restrained themselves and did not have multiple boxes in the background, like with Deadpool sitting in one of them.

Not all of those Doctor Strange cameos were filmed - or how you think they were filmed. Some of the cameos were filmed with stand-in actors. Iron Man specifically was filmed with stand in. I believe Hulk and Ghost Rider were, too. (And since Elizabeth Olsen never met John Krasinski and only filmed with Captain Carter and Captain Marvel on the same day - I guess the others were filmed with stand ins, or were just added late. But I know specifically that Ghost Rider, Hulk, and Iron Man had stand-ins. Can't confirm Deadpool.)

I cant wait until we move past bringing back characters from old, mediocre franchises. They've done a pretty good job making it work thus far, but the more they do it the cheaper it's going to feel. The fact that a "cheer moment" is getting an award at all is bad news. Too many big movies these days are too concerned with the big reveal, or the big cameo, or the big character action. It's what stopped Doctor Strange from being a great movie and it stopped Spider Man from being amazing (SM was def the better film and my favorite from phase 4). Trying to build a movie around these moments is a terrible idea.
@Fourtgru1232 жыл бұрын
The No Way Home reveals had people going nuts, I get it, but the scene itself isn't that great. It's not better than the concept of it which, as you said, meant that it's not concerned about being an actual good movie at that point

Movies are delivered to theaters in a digital format but they are transported in large proprietary encrypted hard drives that fit into a slot in a server tower. The film is then queued into a program schedule along with trailers which are also transported in the same way. the physical transportation of encrypted hard drives is supposed to help against pirating.

Wanda killing 616 Mordo would have been a much better reveal or switch-a-roo. As you said, they could have shot it to make her look innocent and then reveal later she is the villain. Or the kill could have been sinister from the start and been the reveal. As it stands, the reveal in the movie felt very rushed and out of nowhere.

I had a thought while watching the shehulk trailer. TLDR: The time line since infinity war has been slightly puzzling but never really question from movie to movie or show to show but never understood after the 'blip', five years later. I think the purpose of the show and movies in this phase are to lay those years out for us. Hawkeye being an end cap of sorts to fatws being right after the blib ect. By putting them in a random release/chronological order it builds tension in how we think about the situation from sho to show. For example where does WV and DSMVOM fall in? We get clues but constantly have to wait and see. It makes it so you don't know the full story unless you have everything watched. Where the heck does shang chi fit in? I'm really tired of having to Charlie day this shit. Like honestly it feels like a second job rather than just a fandom at this point. As for she hulk, send the sonic style petition for me to sign before this comes out bc...good grief does it need it.

From what I’ve gathered from the MCU wiki here seems to be the Phase 4 timeline (minus Black Widow because that takes place during Phase 3 right after Civil War) and What If…? because that’s alternate universe anthologies): WandaVision starts a couple days after the last scene of Endgame taking place over the course of Nov 5 - 10 2023. Falcon and the Winter Solider begins in the next year, starting from April 16 with the final post credits scene ending on June 6 2024. Loki is a special case since it primarily takes place outside of time, but given that this Loki was only created because of the events in Endgame, it’s safe to say this takes place during and after the time heist in that movie. Shang Chi is around the same time as FatWS, although a bit earlier. That movie’s timeline is listed as being from March 28 - April 4 2024. So just earlier that spring. Eternals is a weird one because that’s the first to not have an official timeframe. The wiki has it listed as taking place in late 2023 while someone at marvel (idk who) said it took place around the same time as Shang Chi and FatWS (so spring 2024). Idk which ones correct, but I just choose to believe it takes place closer to Endgame so I just say late 2023. Hawkeye is easy, Christmas week 2024. Spider-Man No Way Home seems to be set during November 2024 for the most part with the final swing implying that it’s now Christmas time. Moonknight is unconfirmed, with the only info the wiki is claiming is mid 2025. Same with Doctor Strange and the multiverse of madness. It definitely takes place after both WandaVision and NWH so 2025 seems the most likely. That’s the what the wiki says but not when in 2025. If I’m to guess, it’s probably early 2025. As for She-Hulk, we’ll see. So the timeline seems to be Loki > WandaVision > Eternals > Shang Chi > FatWS > Spider-Man NWH > Hawkeye > Doctor Strange atMoM > Moonknight.

Mordo thinking there’s too many sorcerers would actually have been an interesting way to get him to team up with either wanda or strange (wanda killing actual sorcerers but also being too strong a threat as a witch)
@groovymovies3902 жыл бұрын
I thought it would have been interesting to have him as like a third-party who believed the best course of action was simply to kill America so no one could have her power at all. Like, maybe Strange and Wong reluctantly go to him for help in defeating Wanda and then he sabotages Kamar-Taj's defenses in an attempt to cripple the sorcerer society of Earth. Maybe when America accidentally transports Strange and herself to the other Earth Mordo gets dragged along to and then he agrees to help them only to get back home and kill Wanda. Considering Strange wants to protect America and Wanda wants her dead, I thought it would be interesting to have a character who believed the best course of action would be to rid the world of the power itself. Maybe even build Mordo's character by an interaction with his alternate Illuminati counterpart like what they do with Strange.

So maybe he was meant to play Baldur, and that’s who he’ll be in Thor 4? Makes more sense for him to be playing the Nordic older brother of Thor than the stretchy American Mr Fantastic. Especially as the rumours of Baldur specifically state that the mr fantastic cameo replaced him. So following this train of thought, we now have a reason for why the Mr Fantastic cameo replaced him in the movie, it’s because Craig dropped out.

@extremetoast57232 жыл бұрын
Pretty certain that Craig was to play Baldur. There were rumours that the Baldur cameo was taken out and replaced with the Mr Fantastic cameo, so it would make sense considering that Craig had to drop out. Also, Craig playing the Nordic older brother of Thor makes more sense than him playing stretchy, American Mr Fantastic.
