Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, Avatar: The Way of Water follows the journey of Jake Sully and Neytiri's newfound family. Despite their best efforts to keep their family together, a familiar threat resurfaces and forces Jake, Neytiri, and their four children to flee to the land of the Metkayina clan.

I think it is fabulous! Looking at the set, I see it more for stop-motion purposes. My brother has a stop-motion channel and I am sure he can come up with some great videos using the McFarlane figures.

McFarlane toys also brought out a set of smaller scale collectibles if you are worried about shelf space. They are less detailed than the big stuff, but still pretty good

Got both mega banshees and the new versions of Jake and Neytiri. I deliberately passed the „old“ versions of Jake and Neytiri, because somehow they didn’t click with me (also Jakes loincloth never was that teal color) Concerning the Banshees tail: Its a one-time snap and you have to push it in very good. If you have issues with that, I recommend to soften it a little with hot water Im a McFarlane collector for over 10 years now (mostly the dragons), so those were right up my alley. The deluxe set is available at local stores and their online sites where Im from (Germany) Also have Tonowari on his Skimwing on display, hope they will make a figure of Ronal aswell

I love the action figure! And I love your videos, too! Are you thinking of getting a Tonowari with a Skimwing action figure too? I think I've heard you mention before that you are intrigued by Tonowari in past videos. I don't have any Avatar figures from McFarlane; I do wish that they could have made a Toruk Macto figure. Especially they way Jake looks in battle. I am looking forward to more of your videos!

There actually is (was?) a figure of Toruk. In 2009 Mattel did a figure of him, also with a Jake version in battle attire. This figure however is now considered to be very rare and sells for absolutely horrendous prices on ebay

All I can say is, they are less detailed in the paintjob than the McFarlane ones, but keep in mind that those were meant for play. Nearly forgot to add it in my coment below: Get a blacklight! The figures glow under blacklight Also the bow slides into the sheath on the saddle and you can actually attach the braid to one of the banshees antennae

Avatar has produced games, toys and merchandise for years and still hasn't reached fans James Cameron aspires I think the designs aren't good enough and somewhat an amalgam of failed franchises.
