the cries and mourning was so powerful to me, I remember being a kid and watching this with little understanding but still crying because I knew they had lost something which meant so much to them. To this day the same applies.

It’s very rare that a movie had an emotional hold on me as a teen but this one definitely did. I felt the heartbreak, the rage because I knew this was a reality for many in the past and in todays world. I don’t care what anyone says, this was a brilliantly made movie

2:44 when Norman punches that guy to stop him from pressing the button, i can feel the character's desperation and urgency! But it also gives me a surge of adrenaline, and I'm like hell yeah, eff him up!
@itzangel9379 Жыл бұрын
2:39 the fact that the lady in the back was crying shows how her,norman and the other teams (Not the Rda ones) had felt a connection with these Navis and Eywa itself they had cared about their nature and only wanted to experience the ethical beauty of pandora, So it is a hit in their heart SOOO much to see how they just stand there couldn't do anything but felt so bad and had remorse to see the destruction of The Navi's beloved home fall into the ground and killed many of its kind and loved ones infront, My gosh this is so heartbreaking even for neytiri's loud crying made me burst out of tears to see how their clan isn't that peaceful because how much war they have been through😢💔

I specially like the scene with the chairman guy seeing the children and people running crying, it's like for a tiny little second he felt the weight of his decision but then he comes back to the awful man he is..
@loafywolfy2 жыл бұрын
that scene was supposed to go along with another where he regrets it and tries to get quaritch to stop, but it was deleted.
@Nicholas_Chen_2 жыл бұрын
Yeah he’s a very realistic corporate businessman character, mostly driven by greed and profit but still has some humanity left. Thats why I like James Cameron’s films, his characters have layers and are quite relatable.
@heynhamnham2 жыл бұрын
@@Nicholas_Chen_ yeeh he's a company manager but is he paid to do massive genocide? Was this what he was aiming for? It wasn't, so JC makes it clear in that tiny second of humanity he had
@liamisaac11522 жыл бұрын
@@Nicholas_Chen_ That’s what I like. He wasn’t just this black and white type of character. There were other layers that came with him. He was driven by nothing but greed but he was also hesitant about the plan initially. Quaritch kind of got in his ear instead of looking for another alternative

@anirudhpuranik52222 жыл бұрын
Yeah they might've heightened emotions in their CG versions a slight bit. I'm observing the same in all the behind the scenes for most of the cast. Or it might be just that we are not able to see the full performances of the actors due to the lighting of the face camera boom., I'm assuming it removes the shadows from the eyebrows and other areas for the normal viewer, which are necessary to convey emotions properly.
