I couldn't agree more! It's pretty much what makes the game IMO. If it was third person, it would feel like a not as good Horizon Zero Forbidden West. Right now it feels like Farcrizon Forbidden Pandora Primal and I'm pretty happy about that.

It was originally 3rd person which I originally thought would be better.. but the makers thought it better and more immersive in 1st person like Far Cry and Cyber Punk etc.. And now I'm actually playing the game I've got to admit.. they were right. 😊 And usually I prefer 3rd person by far.. but like Cyber Punk.. you are 3rd person when riding or driving things.

My advice to everyone is to just take your time, explore and enjoy the game. A lot of things you can figure out as you progress through the game. A lot of what the game provides is fun when you take time to discover it on your own. The map is huge.

A tip i got by exploring and... spending 3 hours hunting..... for a side quest... is that you would get different rarity of loot depending on what type of animal you hunt, and with what type of animal i mean how matured they are. You can see that the hunting guide shows "young, adult and matured" and most of the time that you see a creature it would give you "fine loot" (green loot), that's because they are young. you could safe a lot of time and pouch space by scanning the target and seeing what color of the loot they will give you, and if you are following a trail you can see if it says young or something else to know if you want to follow that one or look for another prey.

Yea we need stealth take downs, personally I’d really like to see us given the option to tilt our bow one way or the other. I’d also like for items and things to be a little more visible with your Na’vi senses. Unless that’s an upgrade I just haven’t got yet.

It’d also be good if there was animation for retrieving arrows from shot down animals and enemies. It feels a bit lazy that they just disappear and go back into your inventory, especially when this was such an animated and deliberate thing in the movies

I won’t lie I had my doubts, and whoever did the marketing should be shot for sure because I didn’t even know about its release date until the PS App sent me a notification that it was out. I am having an absolute blast. I really wish I could name what it is. But Starfield I thought was going to be good, then they gave us the Digipicking which is just an absolute chore. Sure it’s original but it’s not good. But the mini games for picking fruit? For doing the electrical conduit mini game? Love them. Instantly hooked!

I was convinced this game was just going to be Far Cry: Blue People Edition. So far I've been pleasantly surprised. Ubisoft games will only ever be SO different. But FoP feels way less like Far Cry than I thought it would. After playing FC3, 4, 5 and 6 for hundreds of hours each, I'm excited to see how much I get out of this game.

And that's because it's NOT Far Cry 😄 One of the most painfully reductive things that happened early on was people calling this "Blue Far Cry" after seeing some trailers and making assumptions without even playing the game - then everyone else jumped on the bandwagon just parroting the same error. It's a completely different game, based on a completely different IP, made by a completely different studio on a completely different engine following a completely different creative direction - and I love it. :)

The world is beautiful 😍, when you do the quest to get your mount, just wow the amazing beautiful veiw of the land scape and valley, with the music background and it makes you are in the game. You will see the wind gusting through the grass, flowers, plants etc..., amazing sun light with nature insects and animals while doing this quest. It's a amazing nature. Looks really good if you have a big screen oled tv.😮

Happy this game came out. Was just about the re-play Far Cry Primal. But damn the world is overwhelming (I’m 2 hours in). I would have been lost, if I had chosen exploration mode 😂

I switched over to Exploration mode last night, and oh wow it's amazing, would highly recommend you give it a try! It immerses you even more because it removes the focus of just running towards the blue dot and instead you have to actually look around you and see everything around you, studying the world and it makes the journey so much more rewarding imo 😊

Just got the ultimate edition on sale for 40% off, and my buddy got the regular edition as well 40% off, and what an awesome experience it is to play this game. We have been kinda bored with our games that we have been playing lately, we usually play fallout 76, Gta online, helldivers 2, red dead online, and i gotta say this is an incredible breath of fresh air. I understand why they made it first person now, being able to interact with the environment and the wildlife, going through the human settlements feeling like a giant, really does a great job at making you feel like the Na'vi, and running around at night and seeing all the bioluminescent foliage come to life is truly gorgeous. I think the last time me and him have had this much fun, was when we co-op beat tom clancy's wildlands, another ubisoft game which is insane that ubisoft made this one too. Totally worth the purchase!

My only issue is that i wish u could stealth more. Cause the second your spotted the enemies can essentially track you no matter where u are. Im playing on easy too and its f*cking ridiculous how op enemies are. Plus once your spotted you are pretty much screwed and cant lose the enemy again unless you restart the encounter. And all this is happening to me even though im more than strong enough to handle the enemies. They need to nerf or fix this crap. 🙄 Oh i also have all the best stealth upgrades too in the skilltree.. yeah this needs to be fixed!😒😠

I toned down the difficulty so I could focus on having fun stealthing around but as soon as I fire a f*cking arrow the entire camp knows where I am and there is no way to lose them except reset the encounter by dying. This is poorly designed and not fun.

I got the screech skill and pretty much everything to do with combat with the ikran but for whatever reason I can’t do the ikran specific takedowns on the helicopters. Just hoping someone can help me out as to why I’m unable to takedown when I’ve staggered the choppers

Patience :) you wait with your arrow drawn near a deep enough pool of water, then once you see the fish bubbles near the surface, your reticle will turn red and you can fire for a clean fish kill. I'm loving it so far it feels really cool.
