So ima say this since i dont see anyone else mention it anywhere else in these videos.. If you are harvesting and accidentally ruin the pristine bonus by pulling hard in the wrong direction-CANCEL THE HARVEST->then RETRY and do it properly, you will still get the pristine bonus :)

If you're trying to locate a specific collectable flora or fauna, pin it, then when you use the Na'vi sense, any in range will glow yellow, making them easier to locate.

Hey! I did that by accident but figured that’s just what sticks did. I had roots pinned for the longest time but now knowing that the yellow will be what is pinned my gameplay will dramatically increase in effectiveness. Thank you.

My husband and I discovery an useful mech for stealth takedown against suit enemies! Using the hacking pistol you can hack the suit and open the protective visor. You will have a couple of seconds window to shoot the pilot before he close down the visor!

Do yourself a favor and do not fast travel. Experience the world instead of loadscreens. It is not about the destination, but about the journey 😊

Took me a minute to realize that hovering your cursor over enemies while using Na'vi sense tags the enemy. This allows you to see them when sense wears off, and can increase damage with some mods. Have yet to clear an RDA base without setting off alarm to recieve better rewards. Curious if they are worthwhile. Passing time is another good tip for gathering and hunting. I wish they would allow you to select desired time and weather instead of having to repeatedly pass time at a campfire to get desired result. Trying to get rain weather is a pain in the tail.

They are worthwhile, i think. The first base i hit undetected, after i destroyed the equipment, my character said “wow i guess it pays to remain undetected and after the base destruction animation it fast traveled me to a different part of the base with a previously locked door now open. I could see the boxes with my navi sense while moving around the base and spent several minutes trying to get inside because my SID marker was flashing. Turns out it was a locked container that needed to hacked in the room and a terminal with duty rosters, new weapons, spare parts etc.

Also, i’ve gotten exquisite (gold) quality hides and plants randomly even without being picked properly or the right atmospheric conditions some times i didnt have either and still got superior or exquisite. So you dont necessarily have to have it be the right weather or time of day, i’ve never passed time and have the best ingredients and armor just from side missions

@JesserDaddy you still get rewards if detected but I think at least one chest isn't accessible if detected. And yeah can still get exquisite quality without conditions. The stats can be different with the same quality however. It's typically just a couple of points. The pristine and weather are bonuses that can increase the stats on the item gathered whether it's rare or exquisite.

@@JesserDaddy there is a penalty for not getting both conditions and this is that the health (stats) bonus is lower. The quality (fine, superior or exquisite) remains though. If you would craft a piece of gear with materials you got without the pristine and weather conditions, the result will be a weaker item.

@@powerpc6037 yea i just mean you still get good quality parts without wasting a bunch of in-game and out-of-game time trying to get the conditions to be perfect for a few extra stat points. The balancing in this game is awful and those extra points are really doing anything for you for the time you spend trying to geek out over having everything just right

I got this game when I found out is was basically Far Cry Pandora and im glad I did. I like it alot. I'm not even a huge fan of the movies.

Theres pale versions of a few resources which are extremely potent if not most potent types of said resource, so far I've found pale fire seeds and pale canyon reeds, dont know where i got the fire seeds unfortunately, trying to refind them, but the canyon reeds are in the white moss forest guarded by the white moss thanator. If you find them, put a custom marker on your map so you dont lose where to find them like I did

Im like 10 hours in, just got my Ikran and knocked off a few Aranahe side missions and have yet to kill a viper wolf mercifully and clean. They always run straight at you and you cannot aim fast enough to hit when they jump. The game would be so much more fun if the navi sense slowed down time slightly like increased your perception and movement speed, was a single click button and didnt need to be held

i've been playing for about 10hrs and already got my ikran , one thing that bother me is our character didn't have name, our ikran have name which is cool when u heard our character say it. everyone just refer the main character as sarentu (which is clan name lol)

The dodge and useing cover is essentail in combat i learned that the hard way. another tip i woud mention is there are many ways to get more powerfull weapons incuding just finding them, i found a shotgun with a 105 damage and shock shells. but the best way is to go foraging for the best stuff florra and funa and craft it yourself it may take a bit of time but its fun and the rewards are worth it. or you can steam through the main missions get your icran and then do it, but its a lot more fun in combat with the more powerfull weapons as you can now take them down in one or 2 hits. in a way its what is best about the game there are more than one way to progress and play the game. i hated it at first but now i see its a good thing.

I don’t know where else to ask, but I feel dumb asking. I got stuck at this one spot early on in the game and I just can’t seem to figure it out. So spoilers, you’ve been warned Anyway. I am at the part where I’m trying to find this na’vi dude that just wandered off and climbed the tallest freaking mountains. It’s the tracker quest one at the beginning. The part where you track him with sent is fine and where you loose his sent is fine, I figured out I could use the plant that you can use to climb up stuff. I can’t figure out how to climb the rest of the way up. I’ve tried all the way around the mountains to the point it respawned me right as I was getting to the top😭. Anyway, anyone able to tell me how to get past that part? I checked for more of that plant and didn’t find any. The only thing I can think of is the vines but I keep trying that and can’t make the jump to it or it’s not connected to where I need to go anyway. Help please. I’ve been stuck for like 2 hours.

The game says it takes energy to fast travel. I wish whenever you had 0 energy it would actually make you eat food to get energy to fast travel. Idk if its a bug or not but it doesn't not let you teleport if you habe no energy. Same with stamina isnt supposed to recharge with an ikran but that dosent matter either

I tried to find the old video of the concept behind avatar, but that video is gone bc Ubisoft dont want any backlash, the staff was not productive, the idea was too much for the budget, etc.. excuses. If the Ikran dies it counts as a character death as you are both connected. Basically you restart from last checkpoint

Oh boy did I mess this game up so much the first time around because there is so much the game doesn't tell you. I know Caps is shouting but… IF YOU HAVE FINISHED THE MAIN STORY OF THE GAME AND YOU START A NEW GAME THIS WILL NOT AFFECT YOUR CURRENT SAVED GAME. I started the game again after finishing the main story of the game and boy did I mess up this game so much now I know what I didn't do wrong I was level 11 before I got to the Upper Plains instead of being level 5. The biggest mistake that I made was with favours I didn't know by using favours to retrieve better gear, weapons and resources for gear and weapons I discovered what I was doing wrong more than halfway through the main story. I messed up and the second time around I am not making the same mistake twice.

That's really up to the individual. I would say the base game is going to give you enough of an indication if you want to splurge for the additional DLC. We enjoyed the game, but your mileage may vary

I’m sorry but people use far cry to compare with this game because of the developers relationship to each but I think this game is far more related to Horizon especially in environment creation. Course I didn’t play far cry at all so there.

Genuine question, why? You’re a primitive species that is being invaded by another off world species. Weapons are going to be limited and from what I’ve gathered from playing, is that they are trying to make the game as immersive as possible. I get not being into that but asking for more stuff that doesn’t make sense, just well…doesn’t make sense lol.

You mean in melee range? Yeah we kinda agree there. That being said, we've cleared entire compounds using stealth ranged kills and never got detected, resulting in more end loot.

Before you buy, BEWARE - you can get locked out of the base/main game before you finish it! Lots of people report being unable to finish the main game, because at random times the game decides that you need the (paid!) DLC to continue and it will not allow you to continue your game unless you pay for the dlc! It has been like that since the first DLC came out, so I suspect that scam was their plan from the beginning and they do it on purpose!
