Aang was actually dead when Katara healed him. Azula hit him in the back and it went through his foot, thus blocking his final chakra that allows him to enter the Avatar state.

@@Exe3D I’m sure they already knew since their reactions aren’t live and have likely reacted to the first ep of book 3 by now. I just like interacting with these good folk!

Book 2 ✅ I know this season finale is crazy. Seeing Katara Crying and holding Aang literally dead on her arms that’s heartbreaking 💔🥺

I know you guys are way past this but, you have to remember Zuko is a teenager dealing with all this, his life is just as conflicted as Aang being the Avatar

You guys are so right, everytime I see Aang fight I'm gratefull airbenders are pacifists in nature lol and, yeah, at this point I was pretty disapointed at Zuko for, not betraying his ideals or nation or anything, but for turning his back on Uncle, the one person that had his back through his worst moments. This finale goes crazy with the fights as always and I can't wait for season 3!

What a cliffhanger. We had to wait for an eternity for the new season to air. Zuko, Zuko, Zuko. 😢. You're like a lifelong alcoholic offered a drink 24 hours out of rehab. Aang was quite dead for a few minutes. Medically speaking there are two levels of death. Clinical death: heart stops and/or breathing stops. Start CPR. Reversible sometimes. Biological death: Brain death. Irreversible. You are now and forever worm food. 🪱 💀

Zuko isn't "back on Azula's side". If you think that then you don't understand Zuko's trauma. He's desperate for his old life, his old normal, his old safety. He won't get it by going back, we all know this, but Zuko doesn't. He's a child. And he's not doing anything because he likes his sister.

I love all season 3 episodes but for me the story truly picks in episode 10 with "the day of the black sun" two-part episode. However among the first 9 episodes there are very entertaining ones (6,7,8) , bitter sweet ones (1,4,9) and also cool fillers (2,3,5) .

Zuko's like my friend. His mother is a yogi, his dad is an accountant, and both are absurdly hard workers that would do anything for their children. His extended family to have people that could set him up in any situation he put his mind to. He's dismissed and ignored their gifts for ages, and yes, into addiction. He has his moments of clarity and acknowledges his mistakes, but it never lasts.

Just keep on dogging Zuko. Always. Try understanding the character better instead of being so angry like him. And stop being so cynical when he does good. Can't you see that he is struggling on his journey to be a better person? Many of us do.
