The live-action looks so promising. It’s going to be a hit no doubt if they do it justice. You should watch the og show. The first episode doesn’t set the tone of the entire show. Even as an adult you’ll be able to enjoy the themes and plot. Each season feels like a different part of life. The first season is like kid like adventure, the second is more mature with more weight to the characters and plot, The third is completely gas. Altogether it’s a masterpiece revered by most as the best cartoon of all time story and character wise.
