Right! No one said anything about “we don’t need a live action of ATLA” when the original creators were still on board. But when they left, suddenly this show isn’t needed and is a “cash grab” lol. I’m glad to see more people are taking back what they’ve said the last few weeks (from what I’ve seen) and will give it a chance 😊

As it is an adaptation, it’s not going to be completely the same, but yes it will generally hit the same story beats. The creators have said as much

So far from what I’ve seen in episode 1 and trailers, yes it will be faithful to the original. They’ll be hitting the main points as well as diving deeper for more backstory of the characters 😊
