This was an amazing episode, and it was refreshing to watch your reaction! Quick English tip: I noticed you have difficulty pronouncing the "ng" in Aang. The pronounciation they use in the show is mostly the velar "ŋ", maybe sometimes the uvular "ɴ" (standard pronounciation notation [IPA]) For both of these sounds, I find the word "anger" a good place to start. Pronounce the word "anger" really slowly and pay attention to the muscles in your tongue and neck, especially right before you pronounce the hard "g". In my mind, the velar "ŋ" sound is exactly in the middle of the sound "n" and the hard "g" sound. If you look up "IPA chart", it has examples of almost all possible sounds.

Yes, but it was just natural lightning. Here he explains that firebender can create artificial lightning. Surprisingly, from the point of view of physics, this is exactly what it is: the discharge of electricity due to the polarization of the air.
