Sokka ending up with the hippies and his constant exasperation at their nonsense was peak comedy 😂meanwhile we had Aang and Katara failing at romance while finding their way through. Uncle Iroh and Zuko don't exactly have the easiest time in the wild but Iroh's hakuna matata attitude makes it incredibly entertaining. By far the most interesting part of this episode was seeing Zuko empathizing with the girl that fed and helped them. Thank you for the entertaining reaction, commentary and discussion, you did a great job ❤

Zuko is clinging to hope if he brings his father the avatar everything can get fixed, but he is starting to doubt and yes he is lost. And Zukos great strength - his relentless determination - is also his greatest weakness. He repeatedly won’t stop when he really should. But it also leads to some of his greater successes too.

20:30 yeah, i think Book 2 is a bit more mature and a lot more polished than Book 1, the animation is better, the characters, and the overall story and themes are better explored. there are a lot of episodes on the level of "The Storm" or "The Blue Spirit" and it's less episodic and more cohesive. it's my fav season from the series so i hope you enjoy it! also, Laura's shirt is cool!
