@@EmptyMan000 Yeah, but I love that, makes her different from many others, who really care about their characters, or at least know a lot about their characters, and make great efforts to engage with the fans. Olivia is just very carefree, without being rude or not caring at all, like Ty Lee, doesn't care about peoples opinions affecting her positive mood. Also, read the TyZula (Ty Lee x Azula) fanfiction called “blue fire”, it’s incredible, regardless of what you think about shipping those too.

Olivia is doing a really good job defending her now watching the entire show, not reading the script, not knowing she was a bad guy, and so on. And she doesn't even remotely care about the fans disliking that so much, so carefree, like Ty Lee. But I ship Ty Lee with Azula, and if the show was made today, Ty Lee would've walked over to Azula and made out with her, making all the guys swooning over her so depressed, that she wasn't into any of them, but was just playing them, which Azula would've enjoyed as well.

It's the same many musicians or singers do in they're in a hurry to learn something, you just focus on your instrument or voice, and forget about the context or the harmonies. Or for me, who plays the piano and organ, I just simplify the piece I'm playing enough so I can learn it as quickly as I need to, but not so much that the people in the church notice that there's to much missing, and luckily, they don't know sheet music and the technical side of music, so if they don't know the piece, or the arrangement for the organ, they don't know what they're missing/all the stuff I've left out. Also, play stuff that's easy to play, but sounds hard, and stuff people either know or remember afterwards, don't play hard stuff novody knows or remembers, biggest problem for the churches today.

Performers often don't watch their own work, it's kind of like listening to your own voice on a recording I guess

But that’s exactly like Ty Lee, spending time on what she loves doing, and not caring about other peoples perception. And as she said, lots of actors do this, and musicians too, either cause they’re lazy, but also sometimes cause a musical piece is very long, difficult, or you have limited time to learn it. You need to be able to cost benefit analyze that and go, okay, I can leave out these parts of these notes, which makes the piece this much easier to play, which means I can hit my deadline, and comfortably play an easier version of this piece, without people being able to hear the difference, cause they don’t know the piece, and don’t understand piano or organ music or whatever. But here, I just think it’s such a fun story, cause it’s so relatable and human, and so Ty Lee, so I’d just laugh it off and have fun, instead of taking it too seriously. And she has Jessie/Toph at the panel with her, who is like top 3 of the voice actors in terms of avatar knowledge, along with Dante/Zuko, and Janet/Korra, so that’s how I see it.
