The sets aren't more frequent, the last one was march, 5 months ago Last year I believe the GX1 box released in March & then the midterm was delayed till September

I got these because they were kick ass looking cheap original cards for cheap playable original decks that I can make a plate memberberries and chill lol ought 2 and got OG DM and DMG , summon skull , flame swordsman and legendary fisherman along with some others.. I got Doubles of flame swordsman for my replica Joey deck. Now I just need red eyes black dragon, preferably two of them and another dark magician and dark magician girl, and summon skull for my yugi stuff.

About damn time flame swordsman is getting the respect he deserves. Were definitely getting new support for him in a deck or a set soon. Battle Armament was the start of it.

Haven't had yugioh cards since early 2000s just picked up one of these packs last week. Is it just me or do the cards feel fake even though they're legit like texture of the card feels like a business card or something.

I'm only just getting back into the game after ages. It's kinda frustrating that they're not packed into the "themed" duelists in the box. Trying to put them together so my wife and I can split decks and can't find the official list anywhere. (I know there's infinite possibilities, but was really hoping to have them in order properly.)

When we get a Battle City Duel Island set eventually, theyll repint sdk blue eyes finally in secret rsre i think along with yugi starter dark magician. Secret rare reprint of yata, other spirits and noahs ritual boss topped off with secret rare necross and matching skill would be goat.

Hey mate, the previous battle city box had: Yugi (Magnets) Kaiba (XYZ Dragon cannon) Ishizu (Fairies) Yugi (Phantom Beasts) Kaiba (Obelisk the Tormentor) Arkana (Dark magician) Lumis and Umbra (Masked Beast) Espa Roba (Jinzo) The Arkana and Espa Roba decks in this new box are a lot more aligned with the anime/Manga.

I got a lot to say, first is that Konami didn't put Exodia in the main deck of Rare Hunter. Then they should put in every deck at least one holofoil card, to make more awesome the box. The only thing that I may consider worthy is the promos but not so great. Why you ask, because they don't give you all the promos and if you wanna a special card to have it. You may need to buy multiple boxes in order to get what you want. That's waste more money, I bought one about a month. And at first I decided to not open cuz I may not get some cards that I want from the promos. It cost me $30.00 dollars, was to much consider that most of the things that have the box is just Thrash. Anyways since I don't duel anymore I may give it to my nephew to sell it. Now that I purchased I don't want it anymore. I don't have nobody to play this, plus the cards say Speed Duel and I don't like that. I just wasted my money again..

These aren’t bringing the nostalgia as much as the older speed duel sets. Hard for me to get anyone to play as is and I doubt these would make it easier. Glad I didn’t preorder personally

Don’t understand this, Strings and Espa Roba literally have their anime decks, Rare hunter has the red eyes he took from Joey, Arkanas deck is way closer to the anime than his in the previous battle city box, Weevils skill cheats out paracide paranoid and gives it its anime effect and Joey has Roulette spider. You look about 17yrs old so it’s never going to be nostalgic for you anyway.

I agree this product has to be the worst SD set yet. Compare the amount of new cards we got in the previous battle city box, and you can see konami did the bare minimum here

I think it's because the speed duel cards have an ugly embossed stamp across the text box that says in giant letters "SPEED DUEL". Otherwise the secret rare foiling imo looks wayyyyy better than normal secret rares. The way they shine is so much better than normal foils. Beautiful cards... except for the speed duel stamp

Speed Duels are horrible. Rather them print new DM support in TCG than nostalgic cards as if its anime.

Who said they can't do both? It is not as if releasing these nostsalgia bait speed duel stuff stops them from making new support. This product does not evem have the main tcg playerbase as its target audience. What is your problem?

Speed duel is yugioh how takahashi intended. Go and combo off somewhere and play during your opponent’s turn
