Franz Biebl (1906-2001)
In 1964, a German fireman asked Franz Biebl, his church organist, to write a piece for the men’s choir at the firehouse. Biebl composed the song, and the men’s choir sang it, and it was forgotten. A few years later, when Biebl was the head of choral programs for the Bayerischen Rundfunk, he invited American choirs to come to Munich and sing on the radio with other German choirs. One of these choirs was introduced to his Ave Maria and brought it back to the US, where it became increasingly popular. Later, Chanticleer recorded it and it became a worldwide hit.
Ave Maria of Franz Bibel, written in 1964, is one of the most beautiful works for double choir and engaging works composed in the 20th century. The lyric tenderness and the rich chordal texture of his Ave Maria are set in a contemplative fashion.

Biasanya setiap ada lomba paduan suara gerejawi paduan suara anak pasti memang yg paling bagus, krna anak2 itu nyanyi nya tulus ga mikir menang dan yg lain2 mereka nyanyi krna mreka mmng suka berkumpul utk memuji dan memuliakan nama Tuhan, itu yg saya lihat selama ini, hati anak kecil begitu murni.

Pernah ikut lomba Choir Int, dengan kategori lagu Sacra seperti ini. Tantangan terberat dari semua kategori lagu itu ya Sacra beda jauh dengan Gospel n Folklore, karena menggunakan partitur abad 18 ke bawah dimana hampir semuanya grande. Dasarnya harus latihan nafas dan stabilitas/intensitas vokal. Sumpah, latihan 6 bulan g cukup. But i really appreciate them, woderful. Serasa di sorga ya, mendengarkan malaikat bersenandung. What an amazing performance of what sounds like is not an easy piece.. Such clarity in girls´ voices. The soloist was able to be heard above he choir too. Spoilt by the obtrusive woman with the camera whose dress was not respectful of the buidling

wah kok bisa ya ... demen ke Gereja atau tidak kok karena masalah koornya bagus atau tidak bahwa berangkat beribadah ke Gereja itu juga panggilan .. Allah sendiri yg penuh Kasih memanggil kita ikut berperean dlm karya Keselamatan dari Allah .. ok lah saat Ibadat atau Misa ada petugas koor & koornya bagus anggap saja itu nilai plus nya karena lewat koor yg bagus / suara yg bagus sebagai rasa pujian kita pada Allah di Surga. saya juga seorang yg sangat hobby koor , suka musik klasik ,hobby paduan suara meskipun koor yg tarafnya kecil kecilan . kadang melatih koor juga , karena saya hidup di salah satu daerah pelosok indonesia dan yg saya latih orang orang buruh pabrik , saya sngat menghargai mereka meskipun mereka bukan penyanyi / bahkan tidak bisa nyanyi tapi ketulusan hati dan kesungguhan hati mereka ingin berpelayanan di Gereja itulah makna apa maksud berpelayanan di Gereja lewat paduan suara ..
