I first heard her sing with Tabernacle Choir Christmas special. Like an Angle. Pioneer Concert she sang Slow Down. I cannot find a CD with this concert. Yes. USA missed out on her lovely voice but her face and body presentation and feeling is amazing. She sings so effortlessly. I like Anna Netrebko, too. But Sissel sings more than just classical music.

Sissel has been my favourite soprano/singer for many years now. This rendition of Ave Maria is the greatest of all time. When Sissel eventually goes to heaven, she will be lead singer amongst all the other angels. Bonney, Norman, Sutherland, Callas are/were all great and famous sopranos but Sissel is still the best of the best. Bravo, bravo, bravo Sissel.

I too found Sissel quite by accident on youtube and have been listening to her magnificent voice, and enjoying her beauty and stage presence ever since. She is awesome and amazing; I have collected most of her CDs. Too bad she is virtually unknown in the US; unbelievable! I am introducing her to everyone I know and giving my friends her CDs.
