Occasional (slight) portamento from the Soprano.

Very nice. I sang the bass part in concert here in Chile a couple months ago. Your acoustics are better. Go see us sing on my channel. We had an octet. You all did a great job. Very light and beautiful.

Why all the twitching?
@pennyyoung72977 жыл бұрын
Yeah, three conductors and one bass doing his job. Didn'trealize the "o dulcis" was supposed to be forte, twice.

Hahaha, it does look a little silly I guess. This is just a rehearsal habit most of us have at WMU, but it typically doesn't happen during performances. I don't really do it much in this video, but I usually find I'm able to get into the character of a piece much better when I rehearse this way. Lots of dancing going on in our rehearsals, haha

@@Wummel624 Yeah, we also do that during rehearsals (because it helps).

They REALLY need to decide on a (ONE) conductor. Too distracting with all the dancing and flailing arms. Really think some of the dynamics could have been better executed.

Did want to add that the bass has a nice voice. Thank you for not taking part in the conducting and flailing about.

Learn the piece by heart will let you use eyes instead of arms to conduct the piece.... Anyhow great performance, except tuning of the last chord. Really great bass performance.

There was one part, but they recovered quickly.
@MrMoguer6 ай бұрын
There was a slight tendency to lower the pitch, but they managed to recover at all times - mainly due to the soprano's very clear sound and well-tuned lines.
