For anyone wondering: this is absolutely worth it. It transformed my car. My stock turbos were weak, only being able to hold 12psi at 17 target. After installing these, it targets 19.5 and holds 19+ and even breaks 20psi. Even without a tune, it's insane what these turbos did for my car. Highly recommend. Also, if you're a semi-novice like me this job will take you 5-6 days if you spend 4+ hours on it daily. I did it from jack stands in my driveway, having to go back and forth from the auto parts store for certain tools. It's very gratifying knowing I did it by myself and saved $3,000 by not paying an indie shop.

I couldn’t see well. What exactly did you disconnect on the fuel system?

I know you are a much better mechanic that I am (or will ever be) , but can you estimate the # of hours for this project? And as a suggestion would you do hour estimates for any of your more complicated projects in the future? I watch you video all the time and you really have given me the confidence to tackle projects I would never tried before. Thank you for that.

Thanks for watching and I'm glad my videos have inspired you! I'd say 14 hours or so. Plan on a full weekend

I now i would never be able to change the turbos in my e90. maybe is lack of knowledge, lack of willpower to do such amazing work...maybe i feel im gonna break something and leave the car half assembled in my garage...or maybe its because its an n52.

I'm good at turning a wrench and was a tech for a few years. I dont think i want to tackle this on my n54 i135 and I'm needing to replace my turbos. That's a chunk of change lol

Can you please explain how the heck you got your coolant line to go UNDER the outlet on the rear turbo? I am having an issue where the coolant line is hitting the wastegate assembly since it sits above the outlet unlike the stock turbinwhere the assemble sits below the outlet.

When you remove that heat shield (all steps up to the 2 minute mark), is there enough access to adjust the front (closer to front bumper side) turbo wastegate actuator?

Say, brother, your links are broken. I'd prefer to buy them and get you paid with your affiliate link than not. Great video! I was dreading this project... I still am to some degree, but feel a lot more confident going into it than before. Thanks!
