I get that if you’re busy or have something to do then why did you start a game, but at the same time you don’t always expect it to go 2 hours plus😂. I feel bad for Black, he should have gone first, but Orange quiting at that point in time really screwed him over... I might have given Black the win, without him I would have been dead a long time ago... I might have perhaps reduced Black down to fewer troops then me, then stepped off cap(s) - i.e. "i could have killed you, but because you were a homie I am letting you take first"... Maybe that's a weak minded play? But I think its an honourable one...

In a fair game I'd be able to do all sorts of things that we might consider honourable. Because the ranking system is so broken that massive runs of almost only wins are required I can't afford to be generous and still test the variable I'm trying to test.

I have been playing alot of these settings and had around a 80% win rate. Held my GM title and had an absolute blast with the amount of diplomacy. Love the shows on these settings too and hope you keep them up!

Pete have you ever noticed that when attacking on true random there is a timing factor for the dice if you wait around 2 flash’s of the arrow then press attack button you loose less troops

I don't think Pete has anything to worry about these settings getting too popular just yet. I've been filtering for them for the last few weeks, and have yet to find anyone starting a E.A.F.C. game. I personally love the settings. I've been playing a lot of global dom games with alliances, and it's almost exclusively the people who don't accept ally requests being the shittiest players who get eliminated first. Also, in progressive games, I am terrible at keeping track of what the cards are worth, and will invariably get steam-rolled around turn 7. Don't even get me started on fog... 😓 I did manage to get to Expert before the end of the most recent season using as many of these settings as I could. Aiming for Master before the end of this season. 🤞

Could you use the slider to use only half your troops when your taking a capital or high risk territory? That way, if you do get bad dice, you can stop and retain some of your troops. In this way you avoid the situation you had earlier in this game where you not only failed to take the purple cap, but left it open for another player to take.

I don’t know if it’s because I don’t play as much Risk anymore but i always go for the satisfying ending of clearing the board even though I know black would get 2nd either way. But I also see that it would take extra time when you are already playing plenty of risk
