johnathan woolbright yeah it's pretty hard playing exactly the same as electric guitar on acoustic because that's exactly what acoustic is all about. Power chords.

Especially nylons, first time learning guitar as a kid back then with a nylon acoustics really torture me 😂😂😂 the gap between each string is wider compared to the usual metallic (bronze/nickel) strings.

Hey, I really love your video. I've been hearing this medley every single day. And it makes me pick up my guitar and start playing it. I just would like the tabs for Bat Country and Buried Alive if possible. Or even tabs for all of them! Good work, mate!
@Adamek19268 жыл бұрын
Honestly, that's sick! Keep playing! Most of the tabs I learned are from the Tab Pro website, for which you either need a premium membership or I think there's a free trial for some time - plus.ultimate-guitar.com/tab-pro/ If you want an alternative free website with tabs in a similar fashion you can find them all here at www.songsterr.com/ Cheers :)
@xx-yh9os8 жыл бұрын
But most of the tabs there are for electric guitar which makes them hard/unplayable on a acoustic/classic guitar.

it's like half done, but I recently lost interest because a lot of things are happening in my life at the moment, plus I am mainly an electric guitar player so I focus more on that and Green Day is too easy, so it's not as enjoyable as making the A7X medley was. You can check my Soundcloud (bruh) with the same nickname as here on YT, I post some short covers of songs into metal here and there :)

Johnny Swanström I feel you bro. That's my personal favorite off of their first six albums (second only to The Stage). I don't know why but I love the diversity in those two. The acoustic outro solo on both of those songs are both a masterpiece and an eargasm. Haner is probably at least in the top 20 guitarists of the 21st century
@zacharylagace-s.70867 жыл бұрын
Jerald Wolfe I'll have to disagree with that one, sure he got mad technical skills and knows how to write a solo I'M NOT SAYING HE'S NOT GOOD OR TALENTED just that when you fool around with his solos you pretty much get the idea of what 90% of his work looks like.. sweep arpeggios, chromatic scale and speed picking scales, over used concepts He's a beast, but he certainly is not in the top 20 on a musical level Trying to make a point not mad or anything :)
@granthoward76327 жыл бұрын
Zachary Lagacé-S. Yeah I see where you're coming from. I've learned quite a few of his solos. Really fast chromatics, sweep arpeggios, tons of slides, the minor third up harmony tool, oblique bends. If you don't think he's top 20 material than you likely listen to a more diverse range of stuff. Anyone I've heard play usually doesn't impress me as much as Gates does. There're plenty of greats out there, no doubt. I just find with Hammett or someone of the like his solos are mainly pentatonic runs waits whammy bar tricks. I really enjoy playing and listening to Haner's work more than anyone though. Dan Donegan, Satch, and Slash are also guys who I like. You may be thinking "but slash also uses pentatonic over and over again." You'd be right, but the way he uses it paired with his vibrato, extra notes and delicious bends, it's loads of fun. Also, thank you for being so polite :D
