Here is an explanation of why they stopped playing at 1:04:55 , we were all moshing when a boy fell down and a few other persons fell on him. When getting back up, they realized the first boy was laying unconcious on the ground. When Matt says that we were the best crowd at 1:06:23, it's because we all spontaneously made room for the medics to come help the boy out

People who didn't live thru their earlier days love to cry Matt's losing it, but as someone who's followed them since their STST era actually much more prefer Matt's singing rather than screaming technique much better now. Now he's much more stable singing out his diphram rather than his neck, and I appreciate a lot more. His gritty technique was more brutal, but still hurts to hear
@peetonshaun32904 жыл бұрын
as much as i loved when matt could scream like he could in 2011 i like when it got more clear because it made them better to listen too. like there are definitely songs like afterlife that were sung like before but we gotta think as fans that if we want them to keep making good music, we have to let matt not blow his vocal chords because he couldn’t speak well at the end of 2018
@19htown4 жыл бұрын
Peeton Shaun Agreed! I would much rather they go for longevity and quality rather than simply screaming over tracks. I love songs like God Hates Us from time to time but too much screaming hides the quality sound behind it.
@peetonshaun32904 жыл бұрын
Original Name cause it’s sad to see that matt could barely sing during their last tour. it’s good that this quarantine happened though. it gave him more time to heal up and it also gave them time to spend time with their family’s and make music.

makes me cry listen "afterlife" with this Matt voice, I hope than with some rest after this great tour, Matt could return to his awesome normal voice
@Michael-jg8pw6 жыл бұрын
He needs rest, his vocal chords have been going nonstop since The Stage was released. They'll go on vacation this fall and i assume he'll continue working with vocal coach Ron Anderson to sort out the voice. Maybe he'll go back to the 2014 vocals with less rasp but hitting notes better.
@joshbing94866 жыл бұрын
Michael I sure hope not. Everyone practically universally hated his 2014 voice even he didn’t like it he said he just did it to try to take a break from some of the rasp
@EricJaegerMusic6 жыл бұрын
Tbh with all of you this is his normal voice. He even said after download that during download his voice was messed up because his head voice was separated from his chest voice which makes transitions from low to high or vice versa wobbly. But his voice in general is where he wants it, this will allow his voice to last longer. If he sang like city of evil days he’d last half a show and have to rest. So it’s better off like this

These guys need a break from touring, they’ve been going nonstop for 2 years now and Matt sounds like he’s about to have a stroke when he screams. He can’t even sing the opening line in Unholy Confessions anymore.

I think Matt did pretty good on this show, now I have noticed since hail to the king came out Matt’s voice has been struggling. But I think it’s better here then it has been lately

Aidan LaRose let them do there thing they need this fire. After they can vacate and write another album

shahrul ridzwan they all have a net worth of $20+ million. I think they’d be fine taking a month or two off of touring.

Matt said they will have a break after the tour.

Really happy they decided to play recording of Rev's voice on his parts instead of getting someone else to cover it, seems like a nice thing to do

Bruh, exactly. It's their best song ever. Nothing can beat that song. Unless whenever there new album comes out (probably next year because of 3 year gaps between albums) probably one song can beat Save Me

@@williamrobbs idk if it's their best hut it's super good, but it's so damn long too and changes everywhere, idk of it's rlly a live show song

13:10 that bit between hail to the king and welcome to the family was so awesome. They should make that into a song.

Great concert but on this particular concert i think they filmed Brooks way to little, yea i know he is still pretty new to the band but we still want to see him more like on the other filmed concerts:)
