Not ready to die was made for Call of Duty Zombies, as a hidden song, so I think all there is for the song is lyric videos (And 935 was this nazi experiment group in the Call of Duty zombies lore) Also the piano is like, the main theme for Call of duty zombies, so it’s nice that they could fit it in the song

This was their first song with Arin Ilejay on drums. he was the drummer on Hail to the King. I'm so glad Patreon pulled out the big guns on this masterful song. A fantastic reaction, as always! ❤ This song is incredible, but the most incredible thing about it is the fact that it was written, recorded, and mixed in just 4 days. This song is about the character Edward Richtofen, a Nazi scientist researching Element 115, an element that turns most of the world's population into zombies in Call of Duty lore. He was spiteful of his head scientist in Research Group 935, Dr. Maxis, and wanted to use the research to overthrow Hitler and enslave the entire world. The only person he saw as a threat to this plan was Maxis' daughter Samantha, who was given powers by her father to control those infected with 115. He plans to seize that power, and with it, seize the world. There's actually wind and a scream in the song. The wind is buried in the background in the very beginning behind the synthesizers, and that growl was about 17 seconds long. This song came out at the tail end of the Nightmare era right before the Hail to the King era started, and for me, that's when Matt's voice was at its outright most powerful and the band had honed the dark atmosphere of their post-Rev music. Both guitar solos would rank in my top 10 easily, and that piano sample, Damned, was the original music for Nazi Zombies. I have no idea how they put the song together so quickly compared to their other music, but it definitely wasn't lazy in the slightest. A constant top 3 Avenged Sevenfold song for me, with M.I.A. and I Won't See You Tonight Part 1.

There is no band that remind of Avenged Sevenfold. But Avenged Sevenfold remind of a lot of bands blended all together.

This song was made for call of duty zombies, so a lot of the lyrics have a connection to the game. for example group 935 is a nazi research group, well to tell it simply it is that. also controlling them all means controlling the zombies. a7x has quite a connection with the cod zombies series, shepherd of fire and nightmare have been used in the games too and mad hatter is another song they made for zombies. also carry on was made for call of duty too. so im really hoping that they will release a new song for the upcoming call of duty game but we have no info on that, well im holding on to hope that a new song is coming soon.

This was the first song I heard from the band and one of my favorites. It is a song dedicated to the Zombies mode of the videogame "Call of duty", one of the most popular videogames in the world. The band and especially Matt (a video game lover, as he himself has said many times) get along very well with the company "Treyarch", which develops the game every two or three years and always has a song by them. In this videogame songs such as Nightmare or Shepherd of fire (songs not made for the videogame) have been used, as well as some dedicated exclusively such as "Not Ready To Die" (2011), "Carry on" (2012) or "Mad Hatter" (2018 ), which were featured on an album called "Black Reign". This year that company develops the videogame and surely there will be a new song by the band, although they have said that until there will be nothing in a while due to Covid. Of these songs I recommend "Carry on", which has a funny video where the members of the band are characters from the videogame.

Aah Not ready to Die; one of the OG hidden songs of call of duty. So in zombies you play a specific "mission"(map) and lets say there has been at least 20 maps and every one have a hidden song, some of the songs are actually damn good, you should check out"archangel" by kevin sherwood, he and a lot of artists makes the songs for the game, i love "archangel" because its a damn mess 💀 Killing zombitches while headbanging to metal has to be one of the greatest things that happened to the human race

Rather than criticize the way I normally would, or tell how the song influenced my heard. Just a short but meaningful "I liked it". The intro felt like an excitement of pending doom. The remainder was akin to cemtex poked hard up my behind. But as the title says "I don't want to die".
