My first year of high school was a bit difficult in a way, my grades dropped really badly in Italian (my mother tongue) and I really cared for the subject but couldn't seem to write decent essays anymore. I felt so down and demotivated. Then for the last test of the school year, our teacher gave us the option to write a short story so I could write whatever I wanted. Avenged Sevenfold was the entire reason I got into music and got my foot In the doors for multiple different genres i never would have listened to or would have understood without going through them first in the similar field. One of the most consistent bands out there. Everything holds up through time and ages like fine wine. Jimmy was the reason I started playing music/drums still miss him and the fact he’s gone but what art and talent he left behind for us. God bless you Jimmy.

I couldn’t even imagine how they felt when shooting this. Think about them sitting down for this and hearing Rev’s scratch vocals and the little bit of goofing around he was doing and scatting “on the spot” lyrics. I just KNOW i would struggle to keep it together. Jimmy was cut from a different cloth. Killer musician and writer, but his strongest trait, that jumps out in ALL of the old videos was the love he had for everyone in his life. It’s so hard to lose someone like that.

I knew a Little Piece of Heaven was a masterpiece but I didn't know it was at that extent. A very good idea to break down this legendary piece. I love Avenged Sevenfold, especially the Rev who started this and contributed his everything in this, the crazy good vocals (those screams man), the composition and everyone else who took part in it.
