And its won the polls as far back as 2018 in the reddit. Which is mostly hardcore-fans. So i'd say its an acceptable opinion for sure.

Without A7X life wouldn't be the same for me. This band literally saved my life and it's amazing how so many musical prodigies are in this one band! Johnny Christ is in a league of his own, Zacky has people trying to mimic his melody, Gates is in a league of his own, Matt has a one of a kind voice like Ozzy, Jimmy was a genius and Wackerman is the perfect fit to try and fill some pretty huge shoes. Thank you for everything yin'z did and continue to do for me! My son and I bond over the music I grew up with and started playing guitar because of Gates. I drummed and looked at Jimmy as a God . Honestly from the bottom of my heart I love yin'z fellas

I was in the Psych Ward when this episode came out. Had my own episode going on. “Clean” bill of health after a 1 week stint. Been back in for “forced” assessments 3 times since. Mainly because I focus on THE WORDs, and it doesn’t seem like ANYONE ELSE understands. Seems like you guys do though. I tire of this vile world, and intend to change it. In a positive way. I think that’s why they want to keep me in there. But I’ve died to this world, and chains can no longer bind me. As I am content, not to be content. Great tune. Appreciate it guys. Jimmy Rev really idolizes Mike Portnoy, of course there are many similarities between them... of course Dream Theater is also one of his influences, this is one of the songs that has a long minute after A Little Piece of Heaven, and this is also one of the masterpieces after Little Piece. .

In my honest opinion, "Save Me" is to A7X as "All Apologies" is to NIRVANA. Both songs PERFECTLY close out their respective albums [All Apologies was the ender for In Utero & Save Me was the ender for NIGHTMARE] but neither were the last songs written by the fallen band members, at least based on what I heard starting at the 3:33 timestamp.
