Listen, I know everyone gives liefield a hard time, but I look over these pages and im always so excited. And in my honest opinion, I think his art style changed and I'm not sure if I'm always a fan of the style. Mabye it's the detail and rendering, but this just feels so experiemental. It's like liefield stopped taking risks, so he could meet the deadline

@@Duke-j8e I will always buy his comics. I agree, I think he found a style that works for him and he stopped experimenting. I like his current stuff though, it's striking and there is something to be said for originality, whether you personally like it or not, and he has his own style.

Good review 👍 There was flashy art, little plot and a new origin for the Avengers. I actually enjoy this and the entire series more now than I did at the time. Reading this now I can see that this book is aimed at 8 year olds and Liefeld is trying to emulate the feel of the first 30 issues of Lee/Kirby/Heck Avengers. It's ok. His Captain America was much better.
