The crook in the Captain America was the Leaper. The first Cover was in That Aurora a fan zane by Len Wein cover art by Jack Kirby.back in the 60s.

as they said in the first Avengers film, sometimes it is good to have somethng "old fashioned" aka Cap....i can also see why they rewrote the 60s cartoon version of this story since Namor wanted to kill the Avengers & he was featured on those old cartoons....will just add that i think sometimes when we celebrate our patriotic holidays these times will remind us of our international commonalities & alliances with Canada, NATO & Israel & that they/we STILL face major threats to Democracy & Western Civilization from tyrants & fascistic movements even in our present times! (see book "the clash of civilizations"-samuel huntington!)....also comicman, you might want to investigate/read some of "your" patriotic stories which feature Captian Canuck (non-Marvel), Captain Britian (maybe Marvel Teamup #65), & members of Alpha Flight!....did DC ever create a purely Canadian superhero & if so who was he/she/them?
