Fantastic video 👏🏿 documentary however The Punisher and Blade were the best as they were for mature audience, Blade saved Marvel Punisher had a great cast, yet a poor budget so bad the costume designer is the set designer, Hulk got better there were plans introduce Jennifer Walters in Hulk, not as a cousin the TV series had Banner sister i.e why She-Hulk was created. New World pictures a disaster due to chapter 11, all there TV shows suffered again great video thanks again.

I live in Belgium, people still to this day think of Lou Ferrigno and Bill Bixby when you say "Hulk". When the MCU started, my mom knew Hulk, she told me "I loved the show they did in the 70's", and I watched it as a kid, too (my mom had a DVD of a few episodes). And I agree, the comic book films crazed's genesis is with Blade, Raimi's Spidey and Singer's X-Men.

In fact, the "films" Deadly Dust and The Dragon's Challenge are actually just 2 part episodes combined to be a movie. The show was released on VHS back in the 90s. The Spider-Man "films" were episode compilationsshown in movie theaters overseas (along with The Incredible Hulk). According to Reb Brown, CBS picked up Captain America for a six episode season. It was to crossover with both Spider-Man and Hulk shows somehow. CBS decided to cancel all of the superhero shows (except for the Hulk). Even thecSpidey and Hulk shows were supposed to crossover while both shows were on (another opportunity came up later but fell through thanks to Universal Studios coqk blocking because they weren't allowed the level of control that they wanted). It is saud tgat we would've seen a version of the black and white costume.

It's worth noting that on the Commentary track for the Incredible Hulk pilot, creator Kenneth Johnson gives a different reason for Bruce Banner being renamed David: because he had a son named David. Given that Stan Lee by his own admission had a notoriously bad memory and given that Johnson's info is more "from the horse's mouth" I'm inclined to believe the latter's account.

That whole opening scene where you just see Bruce and his wife being the happiest couple in the world, only to see his wife killed and Bruce survive in the saddest way possible. Just… dude. Not since Pixar’s Up had an opening scene give more emotional whiplash in the most gut-wrenching way. The repeating scenes from Japanese-Man is exactly how I played with toys as a kid. I would have one guy get hit and go flying and just repeat to add emphasis.

Wow, dude, I think the only part of this video I would have rethought was your final line. Beyond that, this is a solid editorial and video essay. I am very impressed with your level of research.

I'd have loved it if Joe Dante had filmed the scene in CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER where Steve was filming a propaganda film with the same old time frame rate used in the '40's.

I totally own all of these lol. The Hulk TV movies are my favorite, and I’m so happy to see some respect for the earnestness of Fantastic Four. This was an excellent video. I subscribed and look forward to more.

Kind of feels like you had more to say about GENERATION X. I mean, the lack of action scenes, the lack of appreciable threat, the fact that you're in the middle of a sentence when it cuts out...

The only downside of Disney getting all the rights bad is that every movie will be part of the MCU and there will be no movie that's on his own

As someone who’s gone back to rewatch all MCU projects over the years, the whole concept of “declining quality” is bunk. The quality isn’t declining. The quality has always been inconsistent. The issue is that there’s a perception of there being “too much content to follow” and people are over it. They’re fatigued and they don’t want so much.
