This is my theory, since after the snap in the infinity war, 50% of the universe was wiped out it could possibly be that the old steve was vanished and the past steve remained in the surviving 50%. Since there were 2 steve rogers in the same timeline, so mathematically, 1 steve rogers would be wiped out after the snap in infinity war

​@ugaldeleslie8568 its not a bad movie by any means. It's just weaker than Infinity War as a whole imo. The highs in this movie match or surpass IF emotionally and even epically but the lows are lower and more frequent than anything in IF.
