It wasn't Peter Quill's fault at all. If you notice, Doctor Strange is the only one not protesting and telling Quill not to freak out and attack Thanos after learning of Gamora's death. He didn't protest because he knew it had to happen in order for them to win. Amongst the 4 billion possible outcomes he saw, there had to be some where Quill didn't freak out and they did manage to get the glove off. But remember, there was only one outcome where they actually won and beat Thanos. That means, Quill had to react that way in order for them to win.
@Cooplander2 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure there is a single version among the 4 billion outcomes Strange saw where Quill didn't attack Thanos. He's had so many people he's loved ripped away from him too soon, the emotional toll was too much for him to handle. Think of how he reacted when he learned what Ego did to his mother, he lashes out, consumed by his grief and anger. As Wandavision touches on, grief is a powerful emotion that can be very difficult to push back against and Quill is particularly vulnerable. I still don't blame him, but I'm not sure that part could ever play out differently.
@MoMoMyPup102 жыл бұрын
****SPOILER ALERT**** 1) Strange also knew that he would die in that one scenario and he'd have to trust the remaining Avengers to figure out how to save him and the rest. 2) if Strange saw the one outcome that worked why didn't he have them time travel and do all of that before everyone was snapped out. 3) what happened to "14,000,605" outcomes?
@terminatrix922 жыл бұрын
Agreed. As Hawkeye said in Age of Ultron; "its your fault? its our fault?? its everyone's fault??? Who cares!?" Loki stole the Tesseract AGAIN nobody is blaming him. Cap and Tony broke up the Avengers.The whole team refused to sacrifice Vision when Peter Quill was willing to kill his own girlfriend! Imagine doing that in vain?? It would break your brain! Thor basically went for the glory kill instead of chopping off Thanos' head. No individual other than Thanos should take responsibility.

The worst part about Peter Parker’s death is that when you understand his powers, he has precognition so he was feeling his death repeated every second until he dusts. The pain of feeling your death over and over was probably excruciating for him.
@Daniel73-232 жыл бұрын
Tom Holland's performance in his death scene really reminded me of that desperate, child-like fear of death that you can see in those WW2 movies like Saving Private Ryan, where soldiers, just young boys really, are crying out for their mother's. There is something so primal and honest about it that rips at the heart when watching, and Tom does it so perfectly! You are either shedding tears or just stunned by it. One thing that some people miss, and I think needs to be said if it hasn't been extensively covered already: the reason Peter Parker was so distraught and emotional when he was disappearing wasn't because he's "a kid", it's because of his Spider-Sense. He can sense danger, even if he can't always identify the source. He wasn't just sensing danger, he was becoming aware of his impending disappearance, more profoundly and tangibly than any of the others, and it was too much to process.
@sarasweightlossjourney14326 ай бұрын
I understand what you're saying but I disagree. I feel like he was scared because he knew everyone was disappearing and he could feel it from his Spidey senses I do agree with that but he felt like he was failing Tony Stark and ultimately he didn't want to die. That's what it's about

@@jahnoyawalker4227 The stakes are an important part in weighing in how bad or good an action is. People understand Starlord and his emotions, but that will always be trumped by the stakes. Especially when you also consider the scenes where he put the mission first before his feelings for gamora like the time where Peter was ready to shoot Gamora for the mission. Shooting ego out of impulse didnt compromise any of the stakes either because there was no mission yet. The reason why people give Tony more slack was that there was no mission at the time that would be of more priority. There were no stakes. The winter soldiers were already dead. All they had left was to capture a random Zemo person. An analogy of the situation would be a person with road rage getting out of the car to pick a fight with another driver VS a person doing the same thing BUT with a wife in the car thats in labor. Cap and BP are the same speed; we saw BP step forward to lead the charge, Cap moved up after. They knew Bruce and Hulk were having problems, so grabbed Hulk Buster from the Avengers Compound which is where Rhodes and Bruce were when Cap and them met up. That facility was paid for by Tony and he did a lot of his work there and kept suits there.

The Hulk Buster suit was designed by Stark *AND* Banner. So it makes perfect sense that Banner had direct access to use it if necessary.

Hulkbuster was also originally stored in a satellite so it could be deployed anywhere on the world. Bruce being able to call it down when he's the co-creator/developer is an easy stretch to make.

24:05 Tom is so great. He goes from comedy to serious moments with such smooth swing. It’s okay to get emotional at that scene, cause you see how at first Peter is excited & proud, and the reality of being an avenger sets in, he might have to sacrifice himself, he might face huge danger, I mean he’s hurdling thru space to god knows where. It’s a really great moment to show the youthful vision of the world, meets the harsh reality.

The Red Star was on his old arm because he was "The Winter Soldier". While in the movies he works for Hydra, in the comics the Winter Soldier is actually a tool of the Russia Government, hence the Red Star.

In Guardians of the Galaxy when they get Arrested it says Gamora is the Last of Her kind meaning Thanos never Actually went back to Check if He Helped
@1c3sly132 жыл бұрын
Gamora didn't want to kill Thanos, but she dedicated her life to stopping his plan which is why she lied about the Soul Stone. She didn't just go with him. The star on Bucky's arm signifies Soviet Union Russia when he was captured by Hydra. Also Tony's arm gun turning into an electric Alien mouth was perfect. In my top 5 movies ever.

The thing about losing thousands of soldiers to save Vision's life. The only person able to destroy the stone is Wanda, and as long as it's attached to Vision's brain, some part of her will always hold back from destroying it. Even if it's subconscious. Well, until Thanos is literally in front of her, that is.
@zeno45382 жыл бұрын
Idk about that but my explanation is that thanos was going to destroy wakanda anyway and half of humans without the stones if needed. So they needed to fight regardless.
@MamadNobari2 жыл бұрын
I mean, even if they did destroy it then, the Thanos army was already there. They wouldn't be like "oh you don't have the stone? understandable have a nice day" and go back to space.

@@MamadNobari Yeah seriously, lmao...they are still genocidal maniacs who want to eliminate half of all life in the universe, one way or the other. Those Wakanda soldiers sacrificed their lives for Wakanda and the world, not for Vision.

Thanos wasn't being held back by Steve. According to the writers, Thanos was dumbfounded by having a man, seemingly with no powers or fancy gadgets to speak of, attempting to use his bare hands to hold back a being capable of beating the Hulk hand-to-hand. Thanos had a huge messiah complex so Steve attempting to stop not only what Thanos thought was salvation but doing it with no chance of winning was both admirable and confusing.

My personal head cannon on why thanos was able to beat hulk is that when hulk is fighting Thanos instead of anger it is replaced by fear thus hulk looses power (the angrier he is the more powerful he is), also the reason why hulk refuses to come out after going to earth is that he's embarrassed that he was beat by thanos
