I like how you pointed out the Marvel theme music seemed darker. It did end up matching the tone of the movie. Also, I think you're the first person I've heard who likes the previous Spider-Man suit. It's funny too that everyone seems the most excited to see GOTG on the trailer. LOL

Thor 1 was the movie that made me an MCU fan. Before that, I don't think I knew Iron Man 1, 2, and Hulk were part of a shared universe. Marvel had shown me that can take unknown characters and make a great movie. Then they confirmed it again later that same year with First Avenger.

I agree with your saying on this movie and I like to say that I would try to stay away from other trailers if I can. The reason is I would end up with too much info and Would know too much on the plot. It happened to me on Captain America Civil war, When the movie came out It was great but there was no surprise for I knew the story from the beginning to end. Some trailer will mislead you and When the movie came out you would be not happy on it, Like the last star wars movie and there was another movie who done the same for me and other movie goers who expressed the same thing. Of course there are trailers that had all the action in them and When you go? You would be shocked of the lack of action in the movie. Amanda the Jedi, You have a very smart, fast, Very good expressive reviewing skill. Very professional way of throwing it all out like the people we see on television, radio. Perhaps this is the field you should go for as a career!

Thank you so much for the kind words! Yes, trailers misleading movie viewers is a huge issue. Fight Club and Drive both tried to market themselves as very different movies and it led to a really bad original release for them, even though they're both, especially fight club, well liked movies now. Trailers that don't give you an honest portrayal of the movie just markets it to the wrong people. With movies like marvel and star wars, yeah the issue usually ends up being that they show you TOO much

Easier said than done. They negotiated a deal with Sony so they can use Spidey in their movies but Sony is retaining the rights. Disney is currently trying to buy Fox but if that falls through, I doubt Fox will let the X-Men go because then they lose Deadpool, too. Fox already lost Daredevil and a couple other characters because they went too long without making movies but they seem pretty determined to hold onto the X-MEN and Fantastic Four
