Jonathan Majors was seriously amazing as Kang, marvel producers really did him a disservice with the portrayal of his character, I get the original plan wasn’t to have him be the premier bad guy but when they made that decision they should’ve gave him the power to do so not nerf him into a perennial failure that you never feared. The mystery of Kang could’ve carried them for years until the final pay off but instead they let ant man minimize him. No pun intended. He shoulda killed ant man in Quantumania I stand on that, the shock factor would’ve been a perfect tone setter for the type of evil Kang is capable of.

Killing anyone in Marvel is a bad idea, because they might decide to bring them back later. Fortunately, ant man was in a natural prison in the quantum realm, and they could have trivially easily trapped him there, just like they did with the snap, with Kang escaping to the 616 universe, or maybe another random universe, that he steamrolls with his army, before planning on moving on to ant man's world.

This was also leaked! It's ridiculous that they gave up on Kang! The Resurrection of Kang The Conqueror His return from out of the Beyond Zone explained from the scrapped Avengers: The Kang Dynasty by Micheal Waldron and Jeff Loveness. The Second Coming of Kang.. After Kang the Conqueror’s fight with Antman, Kang was hurled and shrunk into the Multiversal Engine Core. Kang went subatomic into several thousand dimensions. Kang ends up exiting out of the multiverse. He enters a “void” that is known as the BEYOND ZONE. Kang finds himself trapped In the Beyond Zone. The Beyond Zone is strange reality surrounded by an extremely strong probability storm. The energy from the probability storm gives him the ability to create multiplicity of himself (clones)…similar to what Antman experienced. Kang’s clones begin to multiply rapidly. The clones try to take superiority over one another and Kang is left fighting them and trying to regain control of his clones along with his mind. Kang engages in a deep battle with his clones. The war he is having with his clones is also metaphorical as it represents Kang’s fight over his mind/inner demons. It is revealed he lives in regret of not being able to save his pregnant wife and his civilization. All of this leads to Kang’s mind descending into straight fucking chaos. It’s an unimaginable number of lives that have been killed. Kang’s hands are filled with the blood of trillions and trillions across the Mutliverse. Kang was eventually defeated and captured by the Council of Kangs. As punishment the Council of Kangs killed his pregnant wife and burned his kingdom to the ground. He was exiled to the quantum realm. Kang accepts the reality of his situation but he understands that there is no other choice, that he committed these unspeakable atrocities to preserve reality. It is the only way. Even if he has to experience the pain of losing his wife and unborn child a million times, he MUST destroy the Dynasty of Kangs and save the multiverse. Kang regains control of his mind and his clones stop fighting one another. They begin to bow before Kang. Kang has learned the strength to conquer his mind. The clones chant his name: KANG! KANG! KANG! This finally gives Kang the weapon he’s always coveted: an infinite army of Kang clones that are as exactly as vengeful as he is and have his exact mission objectives unlike all the different types of Kang variants the council of Kangs has. With T'Challa, yes they decided to not recast Black Panther. However in Wakanda Forever it was established that T'Challa had a son with Nakia (RIP MCU T'Challa/Storm relationship). That son was named T'Challa after his father. So i guess they were recasting T'Challa anyways just not in Wakanda Forever. Which kinda sucks why they werent vocal about that. But i understand and have great respect for Chadwick Boseman. Its just actors get replaced all the time. Either their contract is up and a new actor reboots the char, or they get old or tired of the role, etc. Yes Hugh Jackman's Wolverine is awesome but im sure there's an equally awesome Wolverine in someone else. If the MCU gets a hard hard reset he and pretty much everyone needs to be recast or lets do a full animated MCU with notes taken from Justice League Unlimited and not make Hulk and Thor suck and interestingly start it with X-Men or F4 and then introduce everyone else.

Question. Why kill off these characters instead of just giving them their own stories in movie form? Why does everything have to connect. Why can’t we get separate storylines where nothing has to do with the other and nobody coexist. No universes just nostalgic stories from the comics. I think that if you have it be a thing where a bunch of anchor beings are brought to fight Doctor Doom in his universe then I feel like the undoing of those heroes ultimately being the MCU Spider-Man being the one holding back Doom while the others try to stop his plan and in the battle between Spider-Man and Doom part or all of the mask is broken off revealing that it is “Tony Stark” and this causes Doom to take the upper hand as Spider-Man is in shock.

As someone who has actual experience in the U.S. legal system, not quite. Violent offenses (regardless of the outcome of the trial) are enough to lose anyone their job, especially if that job is in the public eye. Being Marvel's main villain is about as far into the public eye as a person can get without running for president or marrying one of the Kardashians. And Majors was convicted. Granted it was a misdemeanor and not a felony (thank God because that could have ruined his entire life) but a criminal conviction carries a lot more weight than most people think. It follows you for the rest of your life.

How RDJ ends up being Doom: This is the after credit scene of fantastic 4; The Jericho terrorist scene from the first film Iron Man plays the same frame by frame but when Tony wakes up he wakes up to Dr. Von Doom that saved his life and has the machine that switches the mind and tell him they are switching bodies. He does the switching and RDJ wakes, end scene. If this happens, avengers are never formed, iron man doesnt existed in this universe but gets all the tech of stark industries. This is the soft reboot that MCU is after. Or the story is the same storyline ish but instead of ironman its doom. New mask, same task. The original ironman in the cave looks like a doom mask too.

It's not RDJ as doom that is my concern, it's that the first MCU introduction of Doom is as variant of Tony Stark is insulting to the character of Doom. This is the villain of villains for Marvel. This is Victor von Doom, but you're saying we're getting Tony Starks cos-playing as Doom that we haven't even met yet in the MCU... There's people out there who don't know his story and they're first time seeing Doom is a bastardized version. If RDJ never shows his face as Doom then fine, as a matter of fact I think he should come back in some way as Tony Stark either as a real variant of TS or as A.I. Tony and that's where the 80 million is going. If RDJ plays dual roles that allows for them to not crap on Victor von Doom that would make more sense to me. But MCU Doom being Tony Stark story from a What If comic can go get flushed.

I would love to see the Kang storyline continue but I also agree with Tommy that too many naysayers would overshadow whoever the replacement is and everything would be about that rather than the storyline. I also really do hope that Marvel does exactly as Tommy said and revisits Kang in the future when most of the radioactivity attached to the character is no longer as palpable. I really liked the character and would’ve really liked to see where the character could’ve went if they had utilized the character as seriously as they did characters during infinity saga.

I don't take much stock as MTTSH hasn't really been right about much lately. RDJ as Doom is interesting. I liked it from the get go - They don't do this without having a plan. I really like the idea of black suit Spidey being the one to expose Dooms face for the first time. Secret Wars would be a good time to recast and reintroduce Kang. Let Kang persist through into the reboot. In the Mutant Saga show Kang doing some Thanos style background plan to set something into motion though out the Mutant Saga then Bring Kang back in full force in the Saga after the Mutant Saga.

I think for “Doomsday” you have it start with Doom Bots traveling the universe killing Anchor Beings in Doomsday attempt to destabilize the Multiverse. You can have a couple of Cameos here as well as up the stakes a bit showing characters getting killed. Then you have a character survive the attack and then use whatever tech the doom bots are using to recruit help/ investigate what’s going on.

@@cmorris9494 Read the court case; she took his phone and started hitting him when he tried to get it back, then she chased him for blocks until she realized she couldn’t catch him and just ended up partying with some strangers. He was worried about her and called the cops. They found her high/hungover in her closet in one of their apartments, and that’s when she said he hit her. The jury determined Majors recklessly (but not intentionally) injured her during the whole debacle. Also, Ant-man underperformed because it wasn’t that good. That’s not on him.

I never really needed further convincing after the RDJ reveal. For me, I felt like this is the best way to tell the Doom story in Secret Wars without having a long off time to flesh out his character. What if his mask stays on for all, if not most, of Doomsday and then after he defeats the heroes he either removes it himself or the mask gets knocked off and it further demoralizes our heroes to know THEIR hero is the one that caused all of this
