The first show my mom and I went to when I was a kid she thought “eww it’s muddy and smell’s we’re not coming back again..” when the trucks came out and started the show and intros she fell in love with it and I already loved it. I definitely suggest it!! If u want the experience watch my video a few vids ago “the monster jam experience” , it was muddy normally it’s nice out that’s the only thing I’ll say haha.

Adam totally won that freestyle without a doubt! His jumps were higher faster and the backflip was even higher. It was a BS call! Not taking anything away from Zombie as he had a good run however it was very easy to see the winner!

Looks like the officials were shutting down a lot of trucks. I still feel that the more popular trucks like gravedigger for example have a little more power than the others. You always see that some trucks seem to be much faster off the line and in the long run than other trucks. I still think monster trucks were more fun to watch in the old days simply because individuals owned the trucks and they built their motors and tried to squeeze every ounce of horsepower out of them. So it wasn’t just about the driver. It was about who could build the engine, the chassis, the suspension and so on. Now there are so many rules that every truck on the circuit is identical with the only difference really being the type of suspension setup (most of them are the same now) and the fiberglass body. They’ve turned it into a corporate program much like wrestling.

@@donnaasbury (bit of a rant here) lets face it. half the people there are either kids, casual fans or even strangers. so the first time they see a backflip they will give it an instant 10. and then they look stupid when 10 other trucks come out and do backflips as well, and then do something else crazy but, oh, guess what, you already gave someone a perfect score so all you can do is also give them a 10. And not to mention most kids are only going to vote for their favorite truck. It sucks because this is a sport. But the only people that treat it like one are the drivers and the fans who constantly follow the sport. Even the organizers don't treat it like the real sport that it is. Another thing i find absolutely stupid is the high jump competition at the world finals. Now it only takes 5 to 10 seconds to win a world finals championship. personally i only count racing and freestyle championships, and i get the concept of the skills challenge and i dont have as big of a deal with it as the high jump, but at the end of the day its basically just a short freestyle run imo. It just feels alot easier to get a trophy nowadays than it used to be. And dont get me wrong i also love the individual championship series. But it would only really work if it was judged properly.

Both of baris runs weren't deserving of a win, especially that skills run, like at least the freeztyle was good, but the skills run sucked! Baris a great guy but didn't deserve any win in this event
