Cheers Duncan, it certainly looks better with the added paving and green spaces. I agree it will fill out again, but the central walkway looks like it will be wider than usual, so you won’t be walking virtually on top of diners. Thanks for the update, we’ve been holidaying in Los Alcázares over 18 years and have seen so much progress and change. We fly out in March to look for our new purchase of a holiday home so look forward to seeing the final progress completed. 👍🏻

Not just Zarcos incredibly negatively impacted by this new layout but also Sibarit, Delish and Milo Gastro that have had their seating areas obliterated. Stil can't believe the soil borders do not have walled perimeters, can see these being washed away with the heavy rains.

Used to go in Boochies now and again, but for some reason last summer I'd walk past and the place was nearly empty.

Gonna be hard to get a seat at Zarcos in the summer months by the look of the new layout, which is a pity because for me it's the place to go for cocktails. I had heard the owner was buying the units next to it but don't know if it's true. He surely can't be pleased with the frontage lost.

@duncanponter1946 Don't know how the councils work in Spain, but I'm sure if this was in UK, owners would seek compensation for losing business because of new plans. And in Zarcos case, it would surely impact severely on his takings, the place is packed in the summer months.
