Yes Danny we got a way with it this time no damage. But wales got really hammered bad . on Anglesey got it very bad . the Port of holyhead was badly damaged and wont open till thursday next week so no ferry ships to dublin. and a very big solar farm was tottaly destroyed.. never mind the amount of trees down.

Thank you Pete . Yes this storm was a bit Ruff. One place in North Wales the wind speed hit 93 mph but the most damage was the amount of trees down in the area. And heavy Rain at the same time. But we are all here in one peice having fun again . and we are only on day 10 ..lol..what else can happen..lol..

My area suffered much less damage. The only thing pulled down was a big chunk of the brick wall, across the way from me. Glad you're still standing, to quote the Elton John song. Merry Christmas.

Hi ya Allan, when we had not seen you for a few days, I knew the storm you mentioned in the last episode had hit you. I’m a moderator on Kathy Millet’s once a month Sunday evening live chat and she mentioned Wales had been hit pretty hard. So then I knew for sure. Glad you and your are safe and sound. I woke up this morning to a mandatory power shut off. Due to high winds and possible fire danger. It only lasted through the night until 8:30 this morning. When I lose power I lose everything. I have no data plan on my devices. Only Wi Fi. My decision. So, no power, no internet, no phone, either land line or cell. Luckily my stove is gas. No electronic ignition but a match comes in handy. I had to work on Saturday. Couldn't use the bridge by the power station just past Oakenholt as they'd closed it. On my way home, I was coming along the coast road, and, just through Greenfield , I heard a huge crack as a tree started to fall, followed by multiple blue flashes as it took power lines down. We didn't lose any power down here on our part of the coast road. Glad you and your good lady are safe.

I know what you mean about surviving a bad storm Allan. Hurricane Helene came through my area in the North Carolina mountains and did a LOT of damage. Like you, I had no damage here at my house, but I had no power for two weeks, and no internet for an additional week, so I got way behind in my video watching. I just watched this today, 12/23. I am glad that you suffered no damage, and that you and your wife are okay. Take care good sir!

We lost phone and internet last week for two days came back on ahead of time, then went off again for a day, I used the phone but that soon eats up your data. few flooded roads and trees down out my lads way, but they go out from the farm and clear them, free fire wood. LOl
