How does this compare in size to a normal bike, especially the back end with no accessories? I know its not reccomended, but could I feasibly fit someone about 25 pounds over the reccomended rear rack limit onto it?

I did it on our Quikr - no issues but the rear tire holder sat super low. Straps are necessary. We should maybe do an update showing some of the odd bikes that fit on that rack.

Does this bike ride considerably better than the Velotric Go 1? I bought the Go 1 and the front end seems unstable to me. My bike shop said this was normal and it has to do with the geometry. I'm also not crazy about the jerkiness of the cadence sensor. I come from many years of riding manual road and gravel bikes and the lack of ride quality and handling of the Go 1 has been disappointing. I like the design of the shorter cargo bikes and being able to jump on it to run errands, but I want to enjoy the ride and feel safe and I'm not finding that with the Go 1. Unfortunately there are no local shops near me that stock these for me to test ride. If there is a huge difference in these two bikes in overall ride quality I would like to replace my Go 1.

Definitely not meant for snow, especially deep with the street tires.

Which one do you recommend: this ebike or the Lectric One? One main purpose is to carry a passenger, but I'm really indecisive about which one to purchase. Thank you for your input.

Depends on use case. If you need to haul passenger or more cargo go Abound - otherwise Lectric One is a great option with front/rear baskets.

Really enjoy your thorough reviews! We've finalized our picks for the family bike (only 1 3 year old for now) between the Xtracycle Hopper and the Abound SR - which would you recommend between the two?

Speedometer by Cool Niks for speed. Strava is good too!

I love ride with gps. It has great trail and bike routes. You can see a heat map of recent bikers using the same roads and trails over a selected period.
