Starting at the Adolphe bridge named after Grand-Duke Adolphe (1817-1905) and built in 1903, Liberty Avenue is the city's most wide and scenic street. Passing along the headquarters of Spuerkeess (the state bank) and former ARBED (now Arcelor-Mittal) headquarters, the recently installed tram tracks lead down to Luxemburg-City's central train station where the street ends.
