We visited a few years ago and stayed at the Miranda Cottages and it was one of our favorite trips ever! Such a beautiful little city and the people were so friendly and helpful. You are so lucky to live there.

Wow, that is really an amazing forest. And is placed exactly on the Pacific Coast road. Should be on the list of everyone doing a roadtrip through California, I put it on mine, hopefully will get there soon.

Redwoods are the tallest, but the Sequoia trees up in Sequoia National Park are much bigger. Drive up from Visalia Ca. and film those trees. Amazing.

Locals sure do like doing their burnouts and donuts. I drove this route back in 1999. Quite the scenery! 😊

Needless to say, I went through more than one pair of shoes. Even found myself helping farm marijuana in the mountains with drones and helicopters flying over everyday and others on the property carrying assault rifles and shotguns

There is definitely something odd about the mountains of Humboldt county, and the lights in the sky at night. I will say that. Glad I left when I did. People were nice though, just a little paranoid.
