Hello!... So, I'm from Colombia, and I want to get a set of computer glasses that I could use for everyday use (prescription), I see you recommend Felix Gray and Gunnar glasses, but... Felix Gray doesn't have international shipping, and, I'm not very fond of the Gunnar's, because of the amber tint. ¿What other companies do you recommend? , or... ¿Is it worth trying to get computer glasses from my local optician?

Colombia! One of my favorite countries and favorite people. Since Felix Gray isn't available, have you looking into the different lens options available through Gunnar? They have 3-4 different lens choices now. Their Liquet lens it almost just like the Felix Grey color. As for optical shop computer glasses, that could be a good choice if they offer BluTech lenses or Shamir Blue Zero. Those two options will give you something similar to Felix Gray. I hope this helps. Coincidentally, I'm from Colombia too and I asked yesterday for computer glasses. They offerer me a lens with blue light filter with anti-glare for 330,000 pesos (above $300 USD). I wonder if EPS (health companies) could cover part of the expense, though. The lens was transparent and can have the formula you use.

@@danielalejandrogomezmontoy7784 That's a difficult question to answer since i'm in the US. I don't know health insurance companies cover things like glasses in Colombia. You may want to call them directly to see if they will pay for any of it.

i have a q, is it safe to wear blue light coated glasses outdoors? my glasses have anti radiation, and anti uv, it also decreases the amount of electromagnetic waves that enters eyes, so is it safe to wear? it looks kinda cool good for fashion, but i wanna protect my eyes, thanks for your response in advance!

Technically all polarized sunglasses are blue light filtering glasses and the same goes for most dark tinted sunglasses. Blue light isn't all bad. Much like UV it's only bad when you get too much exposure to it but the truth is we all need it to balance our circadian rhythm. You can wear blue light filtering glasses outside but I like to suggest not overdoing the blue light filtering all day. Take some sunlight in, it's good for us.

I'll start using contact lenses for the first time next week, but it'll be with test lenses first. If I end up using them permanently, I'd like to know what's best. On your chart, Ciba Total 1 has the highest numbers. Should I ask for those if possible?

"best" is all relative. With contacts It's based on your visual need and even the shape of your eyes. Yes, the Total 1 lenses have great specs, but maybe you'll need a lens that corrects for astigmatism, maybe you'll need a lens that's a diameter that Total 1 doesn't offer. There are many lens options and your doctor should fit you with the best lens for your eyes. Usually doctors will give patients a few samples to try. I would suggest the daily lenses but 2-week lenses like the Acuvue Oasys are great lenses also. I'm just happy to hear that you're working with a doctor. I'm sure you're in good hands.

"better" is really not something that I can claim. What I can say is AVEO is using a newer material than hubble. Not sure if you would want to say that makes them better or not.
