Honestly the game isnt even that hard. Half of kills were environmental and i was always full on ammo bc i used the peeling strat. There are only 2 parts of the game that will ever have me sweating and they are: 1. The fight after you throw the meteors into the glowing tube 2. Ejecting the meteor with the sos message

@@AngelSanchez-yv1kr Getting a flamewall (flamer altfire) down in one direction lets you divide and conquer that fight and makes it way more manageable And the Asteroid one... just check and *double* check the joints both ways, make sure you're crossing through the right quarter, stasis it and GO. and don't forget to place the beacon.

it took me 2 playthroughs of the game to start playing like that and then beat the game on impossible mode

I'm playing impossible for the first time and so far I'm doing fine. I just got to Chapter 9 and the only parts I'm afraid of are the environment deaths like the drag tentacle from Ch10 and the Nuke room with the 3 exploders in 9. after ch10 all I gotta worry about is if I have ammo for both the contact beam and plasma cutter, (my main weapons, but I also have a force gun, just in case), lots of HP, med packs, and the lvl 5 suit. Little tip: Max plasma cutter and Contact Beam are your buddies, and don't forget about Kinesis, it is your friend. So if you see any of those pipes with blue tips, or necro parts like Slasher blades or Leaper tails, get em when you see em. And also make sure to get prototype stasis, because it damages enemies. I randomly decided on a playthrough that I wanted to get all blueprints. That was in Chapter 11. As I was running aound entering all Level 3 rooms etc. I got back into this room that goes into lockdown when you first enter it and it went into lockdown again. Never had this happen before. I thought it was a scripted event that only happens once.

I don’t know if this is exclusive to impossible mode cause when I played on hard as I backtracked through this area it didn’t go into a second lockdown

@@ImUrZaddy It's randomly triggered by the director, so far I think only areas that had quarantine events can go into quarantine again, I've had three tangos spawn in on my way back from grabbing the lv1 room down in the tramway once in the tram control room, was a good scare.

The intensity director is wild sometimes. One occasion it filled an entire room with Divider spawn, mostly heads. I opened the door and promptly shit a brick.

Literally the scariest part in impossible was all the janky crusher collision that severed your limbs for no dang reason.

At 1:00 you can hear a voice saying, "How do you know which way will save you...?" Also, cool video, that is a really resourceful way to kill them on Impossible Mode! I just stuck with the Plasma Cutter only, and focused all my upgrades on that and health, and it worked pretty well :D

This is how I play lol. By the end of the game I have so much ammo and resources left because I was stingy throughout the entire game by refusing to "waste" them.

The baseline is pretty high as well, not that much difference between low and high settings. It's UnReal 5 I think, so it's more of a CPU hog

I wound up playing so much og dead space I made the decision to play impossible mode on a BLIND PLAYTHROUGH. Terrifying!!!!!!! But, I wanted to be scared like when the game first came out in 2008. (I was 12) I beat the game on my second try after getting disemboweled by the centrifuge w/ almost 100% -guns (the ripper is my baby)

Kind of like with dead space 2, you can just start going ham with kinesis. The originals was so bad, you just usually wouldn't try to grab a necromorphs blade for damage, either due to picking up everything but the blade, not really worth the effort when yea did. I usually had one spot with a crawler that can't get to you and it takes like 5 or so hits from its tail blade to die. Glad to see it improved of course, but 2 had a bunch of stuff happening, so at least visually, looks unbalanced for what the original had for monster setups.

This is part of why I don’t like the remake. There’s too much lighting, it’s still too easy to kill the enemies, they just full sprint/walk after you full spread like ‘hey, shoot me, I’m right here’, and the music goes ‘oh, we’re letting you know there’s a bad guy in this area, even if you can’t see it. Just a heads up.’ Plus the bugs and all too.

I definitely think the difficulty is an issue I got impossible first try and the enemies are nowhere near as aggressive as the original, but there's still plenty of music and sound qués in the original as well as the remake it can be a bit excessive tho

The Leviathan and Space Slug were the only bosses I died to on my first playthrough. The Hive Mind was more or less unchanged from the original encounter, same with the Drag Tentacles(there were a couple close calls with the latter, but they never succeeded in killing the space repair man).
