I am currently in my 50s and This is no time to taper retirement savings. I want to max out my retirement contributions and I also have another $380k in a savings account that i want to invest in a non-retirement account. Where should I invest it now?
@sharonwinson-m8gАй бұрын
Safest approach i feel to tackle it is to diversify investments. By spreading investments across different asset classes, like bonds, real estate, and international stocks, they can reduce the impact of a market meltdown. its important to seek the guidance of an expert

A lot of folks downplay the role of advisors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850k.

I've got similar problems and I have also considered using an FA but I don't know how to go about it. Please, what are the steps for getting one? Like a really good one.
@nicolasbenson009Ай бұрын
Certainly, there are a handful of experts in the field. I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with ‘’Melissa Terri Swayne” for about five years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive.She’s quite known in her field, look-her up.

It's important to have a well-thought-out strategy and not make impulsive moves based on short-term market fluctuations. Patience and a long-term perspective are key. You should consider a market expert to guide you

mrs Katherine approaches trading in a completely unique way. I'm puzzled by her methods. She just seems to have an innate understanding of this stock market and trading world

I lost over $80k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I found one source to recover my money, at least $10k profits weekly. Thanks Wendy Hubbard Stewart.

I'm surprised that you just mentioned and recommended Wendy Stewart, I met her at a conference in 2018 and we have been working together ever since.

The very first time we tried, we invested $2000 and after a week, we received $9500. That really helped us a lot to pay up our bills.

I was a stay at Home mom with no money in my IRA or any savings of my own,which was scary at 43 years of age. Three years ago I got a part time job and save everything I make. After 3 years, I am 46 yo and have put $9,000 in an IRA and $40,000 in my portfolio with CFA, Kathie. Since the goal of getting a job was to invest for retirement and NOT up my lifestyle, I was able to scale this quickly to $150,000. If I can do this in a year, anyone can.

I'm about 57-1/2 and my total savings is about 10X my annual salary. About 80% is retirement savings. The multiple of your income is better for assessing retirement

Does that median number include the house?

I was in graduate school far too long, then it took two years to find a "real" job and then nine years later got laid off for two years. So there I was at 45 with a net worth of about $80,000. The layoff taught me a lesson: trust no employer. I began working gig work and started building independent income streams. After that I started a home business. Ironically the same company rehired me (long story, having to do with corrupt senior management). I kept all the other income streams however. And after ten years the home business suddenly took off. I'm 61 now and plan to retire at at the end of 2029 with a net worth of about two million - and some of the gig work and the home business can continue so long as I have the health.
@ariefraiser140Ай бұрын
@@OroborusFMA Nicely done. 2029 is my date also with about the same expected networth. Planning to hopefully retire part time overseas and part time in the US. In the US I would like to take on part time side gigs to stay busy. May even do some online gigs.

We must consider safer investments with promising returns in order to plan for the future. If you approach investing with a five-year perspective and simply DCA whenever you receive a check. Under the direction of my investment advisor, Melissa Terri Swayne, whose expertise in portfolio diversification is unsurpassed and client-focused, my portfolio has gained almost $643k since January 2022.
