Thank you for watching. Don't worry... I'll still be posting videos here. I just need a break from the big events for a bit. I mean. it though... if you have a race coming up that you would like to document and dates work for us both, I would love to come and film it.

The marathon de sable has been a dream of mine! I stopped ultra running after struggling with addiction and I just ran my first ultra since recovering. I won and broke the course record at a very small race. I’m going to test my legs at a race with more competition next. Thanks for the inspiring videos! Next year I’m going for the Midwest super slam.

Could tell you were a squaddie after the first couple sentences lol tremendous effort and what a film! It's works of art like this that inspire me to go the extra mile and make memories of my own. As you said it's the journey and the moment that makes it all worth it.

You know what? Through the first three days when I was few steps ahead of behind you I was telling myself "okay, I'm near Craig and Lee, these guys are really strong so I must be doing quite well". And I had no serious problems. You are a legend man, I can't imagine pushing this far feeling so miserably. And this documentary is the greatest way to relive this race again, it's definitely not the last time I watched it. Enjoy the new chapter! May it be as exciting as the one you're closing. :) Greg

Great watch as always Royal, I’ve finally got over the horrors of troop phys to the point I’ve signed up for a couple of ultras this year one being the lap up in the Lake District, just convinced myself it’ll be like mountain training but actually enjoyable and in the warmer weather haha have a great 2023 whatever you find yourself doing PMPT 👍

I've no idea how you continued for as long as you did. You never fail to impress and inspire, Craig. I can't imagine many, if any, other people continuing in those circumstances, with the illness, to get so far. Glad you made the decision when you did and made it out of there ok after an amazing experience. All the best for the future mate 👍🏻

I just want to thank you for sharing your story and all the time and care you put into each of your videos. By far the best-made videos of all the running channels. I am very grateful to have found your channel and appreciate the motivation through realness and rawness.

Brillant! Thank you Craig for some great motivation to Running at the highest level. On the other issues, I have learned that once you switch from thinking in goals to thinking in missions, or habits, you can come closer recognising a calling. However, you did inspire me to get into more running ;)

Brilliant video, really enjoyed it. Loved seeing someone else's viewpoint of the race. I saw you at the end of Day 4, and you looked , and I think felt, the opposite of what I was feeling. I felt the strongest I had all week and the thought that this was the start of my ultra journey had begun. You said that you were done with running, and even though you looked awful, there was a happiness (?) about you as you said it. It was a pleasure meeting you, learning from you, and seeing you help others 😊

As much as I admire your grit and determination, I can't help but feel disappointed in your irresponsibility of exposing your mates to your illness. You admitted that you knew you were coming on sick. Why did you take the chance of passing your illness to your friends (which you did). If one of my friends knowingly exposed me to covid or flu I would question their priorities and our friendship. This event was undoubtedly as important to them as it was for you.

Awesome mate, I love the fact that you have put yourself out there to challenge yourself. I've taken the leap this year, and I've put myself in for my first ultra, the WHW Challenge. Hopefully, my stubbornness will get me through.

Thanks and good look with it. It takes also rats and stubbornness is definitely a great trait to have in ultrarunning 👍

What an absolute legend. Loved every single minute of this film and learnt so much. I’m just starting out on my ultra running adventure but there was points in the film that l could relate too. Awesome story! Could use your advice on having run with the flu. Did you recover any differently in the days/weeks after your race compared to other races? Did you have any concerns that germs from the flu could infect your lungs? Great job again!
@CraigWilliamsUltra2 жыл бұрын
Hi Alex. Yes it has affected me. I’m having blood tests now as there seems to be some kind of under lying health issue. Maybe long Covid or something. My aim is to get healthy and fit again now. I get the blood results next week so we’ll see what comes back. Thanks for your comment Alex.
