I always micro whenever I'm playing solo. Being stunned for 3 seconds was like life and death situation whenever you are fighting with someone with higher stats than you.

@@thegodistestingme yes cuz sometimes they could charge at you before you could even reload your next shot. Beak Things is one of the most fastest creature in Kenshi but they are the best training dummy for Accuracy.

Same here whenever I’m actually playing. This vid was staged, found a scenic spot & just hit record and let Kenshi do its thing. Cross bow kiting is so fun when the pathing works

I think thats the only way to use heavy weapons too. I found kinda enjoyable to find some decent binding layout for the stop action,autoattack and guarding for cancelling animations, you can cut the attack animation as soon as it lands with the stop command, with autoattack it tries to instantly attack after you stop it so you effectively increase dps, also guarding in time for the defense bonus is neat

This reminds me of what happened today after I got hit once by a bone dog and was fresh without any medkit so I was running to the nearest settlement while my health was going down to get one medkit or just sleep in a bed but just as I came to the city gate and the guard greeted me, I fell unconscious then proceed to just start dying while the guards just stood there...

I found it's more efficient to pair crossbows with martial arts than 1h weapons. Dodging is way more reliable than Defence because your character will actually back away with defence he just stays there.. and if u play solo and with increased attack slots that a recipe for disaster.

Crossbow moment. Should have micro more and use bandages mid combat to prevent/reduce chest bleeding. And you should not fight things that can eat you in the first place, unless you 105% certain you gonna win.

you had the advantage with the crossbow, you should have kept it XD. I would recommend to use bar merc or tech hunter group for solo player at start.

Since when can you do unarmed attacks while holding a Katana? A mod? That is really cool btw, I always found it a bit contrived that I was *less* dangerous while holding a sword. In your game, you can block with the sword while still attacking with your hands and feet as well as sword strikes - perfect!

I could be wrong, I didn’t dive into any of my mods for details just looked at what I had subscribed on steam workshop. But I’m pretty sure once you hit a higher level on any weapon your character will start throwing in quick jabs that still count as a hit from said character’s weapon (in my case a katana)

@@lamedrawings I believe that alot of Kenshi's ingame soundscape is tied to it's music (check out Kole Hicks youtube channel, his team made the Kenshi soundtrack and they have some decent behind the scenes vids with more info). For my audio settings I have everything set to 1 with the exception of Music volume at 0.5 & Music frequency set at 3 minutes.

I was playing canibal hunter humble start that mod that make your characters start with level 30 + -, so i managed to run from canibals to Holy nation, i almost got killed like 3 or 4 times in the float lands and then in holy nation tried to steal somethings from the travel store and got caught so i run to border zone but got my ass kicked by the holy nation soldiers but they didn't grab me so i manage to get to Squin where i tried once again to steal but this time i really got imprissioned and even i tried to escape i wasn't able, they beat me everytime, now my character is in coma and the others one, canibal hunter has 2, and i rectruit Ruka got beated in a trader spot close to Hub, i got that expanded cities mod

So I was running a solo sniperbot at one point. How do you go about inventory management when looting ancient sites? I was running 3 backpacks, 1 thieves and 2 large normal. Giant pain in the ass sort all that shit

What bothers me is the lack of hit point damage on each hit to see how they can take the hit. To me that is a deciding factor of fight or flight. I mean this is a accurate depiction of soli, but why not show relevant info when you turn off the u.i?

For cinematic reasons, this video wasn’t meant to showcase actual solo gameplay with all the info & micro needed to gage fights. I think in another video I have my UI turned on at points when I micro my character away from hits but I think it gets in the way of making an enjoyable short video.

How I make easy money, run into the wilderness get spotted by bandits lure them back to town, town guards kill them all and injuring them, loot bodies and sell loot to general store and repeat until you get enough money out of it 1000 Cs worth 😊👍 P.s I did this in every town and over the past few game days I earn more than 10,000c

Best place to do this tactic is in the grey desert where you can lure bd ninjas for their shirts and katanas, faster ways are ancient lab raids, beak thing eggs using 2 mercs , robot limbs stealing , or even luring skeletons to paladin patrol in wend

Once you are strong enough, just equip normal katana and go to the slave camps areas in the great desert. Find some random jerks walking around,make them follow you until you are close to slave camp, kill them , kidnapp and sell.

I found it as probably the hardest kenshi challenge possible(minus some of the more weird challenges)... especially if u really went super late game...micro is insane...still remember kiting enemy attack by running back a little...and then hit them...heck i killed ppl with higher stats than me this way(its gonna take a long time tho) I found group and settlement to be a really hard early game...but easier late game...the opposite of playing solo
