Cooldown is over 2 times shorter on sylas W, its a dash and actually it synergizes with his passive making it deal actual damage, so if you are squishy you are literally dead. On contrary, the annoying part of GP W is pretty much only the fact that he usually will not burn to death after fight or he stops a cc, so if you are champ whose combo depends on single cc then yeah its frustrating. Both are annoying but for different reasons

It BAFFLES me how MUCH health he has while being able to CC chain you, delete your HP bar in 1 second while also being able to tank your entire kit and regening all his health back by pressing a single button. Sylas is just modern day fizz where all his power is on one ability, his ult and a bit of utility. Sylas is better because his power budget is all in 1 ability, his utility is on a different ability for more flexibility and i don't think riot thinks about his ult when balancing him
